works great for edge painting leather. Distributes the paint evenly and without lines in the finished edge. Not really much else I can say. It cleans easily under running water and is ready to go after that.

It works, but this is the kind of tool you may want to spend a little extra money on. The point of the tool is to spread edge-kote on the edges of leather, the tip of the tool is supposed to rotate making it spread evenly. This one feels like it needs some grease, or maybe its just cheap plastic? Not sure, but its not as easy to use as it could be. Probably will invest in a better one. But 4 stars, because it is inexpensive and if you are new to leather work, its a good beginner tool.

I am so glad I read reviews recommending this tool as it made it so easy and professional looking to add dye the raw/cut edges of leather, keeping fingers and area clean. I use old equestrian leather, recondition and alter it for use as handles in purses and totes reducing waste and reimagining items in new ways. The addition of dye with this tool has made a huge difference in look of final product. Totally worth the price and necessary addition to tool box!

Game changer! So nice to be using the correct tool for the job. Point turns easily once you start using it, easy to clean.

I had been applying base coat for less than five minutes when the this came apart as I was rolling. It won’t screw back together because the screw threads don’t align. So disappointing.

Tip doesnt spin perfectly so the edge paint isnt as smooth when done. I was expecting this to be a bit better but will deal with this as is. It gets the job done but it isnt as pretty as I wanted. I may oil the stem a bit and see if that makes any difference
