Starter looks and works great for my 67 Riviera

Great product overall and if it didn’t indicate it was rebuilt I would have thought it was brand new.The part was exact and fit perfectly. No shims were needed although it includes a couple and the starting torque is amazing. Turns over my 455 with ease.I really have nothing bad to say but they did replace the 9/16 cable nut with a 5/8 one but it still fits under the bend in the cable lock.I really don’t want to be busting my rump under cars as much anymore but this part saved me quite a few hundred bucks which I put to good use...There is also a rebate that is easy and a good way to recycle ♻️ the old core that put even more cash in my pocket.Ok, totally recommended . Genuine ACDelco means you're not getting cheap Chinese knock-off reproductions. This was an exact fit for my wife's 71 Buick GS455 and installed easily, even with full-length headers. Includes a nice installation guide with photographs and instructions written by someone whose first language is English. The starter, when rebuilt, was obviously blasted clean and repainted, because it looks like new (except for a few marks where someone hit it with a hammer trying to get it working after the initial failure prior to rebuild.) Started right up on the first turn of the key, just as expected. Highly recommended.

Bought for a coworker he says it was the right starter and works great.

Had to send back. Worse then the one I was replacing.

This was a perfect fit for my 1972 Buick 455. Been using it for weeks now and I couldn’t be happier with it.

This remaned one worked just fine but the new one I bought kept hitting the flywheel. Sometimes you don’t get what you pay for.
