I have been wanting to get in ceiling speakers for quite some time at my spa. I bought these because they were a reasonable price, but my husband thought they wouldn't be very good since they were pretty cheap. They have been excellent, and it is amazing that I only need one in each room. I can't wait to put them in every room of my spa, they are nice and white, don't look ugly, and the functionality is amazing. I would recommend these to anyone. I also have one in a wet treatment room, and it has been holding up nicely. Please try these if you are looking for a great deal and don't want to spend alot of money on speakers.

I installed this with a bathroom remodel, and it's been great. Great sounding for the price with plenty of clean, solid bass from the 6.5-inch cone. The dual voice coil (DVC) woofer with dual tweeters is perfect for an area where stereo imaging is not critical but you don't want to miss out on any of the music. After feeling the heavy magnet I'm not worried about power handling. Of course they don't match the precise sound of the Polks that I have in another room, but at less than 1/4 the price I am very happy.Mounting was super easy. The included template made it easy to get the cutout right. And the locks that swing out to hold the speaker in place worked great to snug the frame against the ceiling. (Can't quite say the same about the Polk mountings.) I haven't had any problems with the connecting wires after two years so the binding posts made good connections.

installed one of these probably 8-10 years ago in main shower, it takes high humidity well, finally was starting to form cracks from age but still sounded good) was pleased to find they were still available to swap unit out, good value for its weatherproof ability

Ordered 6.5” speakers as a pair as described in description These are 7.5” speakers needing a 7.5” hole and have a overall width of 9” The pics in description show two speakers, this is only one speaker. You also need two channels to speaker, left & right, need four wires or only half speaker works. Directions are useless as well as online support

Looks like easy installation. Will install 4 speakers on our patio ceiling.

Ordered for new construction to install in my finished garage. The fact that they were indoor/outdoor speakers was the major draw. However... I will not be using these speakers.The first issue was my fault: These are sold as SINGLE SPEAKERS. I was under the impression it was a pair, though I'll accept full blame for that oversight.The first speaker arrived and appeared to be intact and functional (though I never got as far as connecting it to my receiver). At that point I realized that I would need to order a second if wanted a pair of in ceiling speakers for my garage, and this is where the problems started.I received the second speaker and found that the post which the two voice coils were mounted on was broken and the voice coils were just hanging by their respective wires. Returned it via amazon without issues for a replacement, BUT when the replacement arrived, it had the exact same flaw. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the speakers or the packaging (the replacement for the initial broken speaker was shipped some bubble wrap, but still had 3-4" of play to slide within the box. I can't say I paid much attention to the packing job on the first broken speaker). After 3 attempts to get an intact pair left me with one (presumably) functional speaker, I decided to return the whole mess and go with a different product.*BOTTOM LINE: After 2 weeks and 2 of 3 products received broken out of the box, I'd be wary of these speakers.*Amazon, as usual, made things right and I was not charged for any of my returns/replacement and was credited for my initial purchases3/1/14 UPDATE: I decided to expand my home sound system into the master bathroom and needed a water resistant speaker. Given the positive reviews since my initial bad experience I decided to give this product a second chance. I bought a single speaker for a small shower stall and it arrived intact. I will install it soon and further update my review re: sound quality, but for now I'm changing my rating from 1 to 3 stars. I'm glad Pyle/Amazon got their supply/shipping issue sorted out.

Pyle Home PWRC62 6.5 inch Weather Proof speaker.I purchased this speaker in April 2014, so it has been almost three years. That said, the speaker works well but the grill certainty is not weather proof. I have to paint it almost every 6 months. It is a hassle. I would give it five stars if it weren't for the grill rusting so quickly. The grill is not exposed to the elements. It is ceiling mounted in a span of 5 feet porch, and never is rained on. It is only exposed to the ambient air.

I use this speaker in my master bathroom ceiling with an amp and bluetooth adapter in the closet for streaming music from my phone. The sound is awesome and it works well. I've installed other Pyle in-ceiling speakers in my living room and garage and had similar good results with them. This one was nice because I could hook both left and right channels to one speaker which was all I wanted for the bathroom, and the sound is full and rich.

Just replaced this speaker as the last one gave up after six years of steam from a shower room.

No soy ningún audiofilo y buscaba simplemente un altavoz estéreo empotrado de manera que no tuviese que instalar dos unidades haciendo 2 agujeros en el techo. Simplemente lo he alojado en el taladro de un downlight de la misma medida.Lo tengo en la cocina y se escucha bien, no se producen ruidos ni distorsiones a un volumen moderado, se sienten los graves y el estéreo no me parece que se comporte mal con los agudos. Lo tengo conectado a un equipo sony str dh790 como altavoz zona B con un cable de calibre 14; mayor calibre difícil que quepa en los conectores.No parece robusto ni con calidades superiores pero guarda una estética mínima, unos acabados decentes y saca bien el sonido del amplificador. Por el momento contento.

I bought this speaker based on other reviews and I am not disappointed.Fitted into shower room ceiling and paired with a Fosi Audio Bluetooth 100w Power Amplifier makes for a great sound. Dual coil main and twin tweeters mean stereo signal played through one speaker - don't loose a channel.Fixings easy to install with a template supplied for cutout although thickness of install is a bit limited.Would recommend

We installed these on our back covered porch (vaulted ceiling) and they pumped out the sound! My husband cranked them a few times - slowly to test out their power - and outside to boot! We even sprayed the outside cover to match the stained tongue and grove pine we installed on the ceiling. Worked like a charm! Only had them for a year because we moved but we really enjoyed having them and I plan on purchasing these again soon! Great sound for great price - no need to buy 300$ speaker when you can get it for much less on Amazon.ca!
