The Covenants

Excellent teaching and a must have if you are into teaching the Word.

I haven't quite dug into it as of yet, but the foreword is overflow with scriptural references - it's a must own for private and or seminary biblical student

It is written in the Bible that the people of God perish for lack of knowledge. The knowledge that the Word is speaking of is not the knowledge of this world, or of science, but rather knowledge of the Word of the L-rd.Reading this book, I can understand this scripture a little more deeply. In order to be a proper subject of the Kingdom of G-d, you must be familiar with the principles that the Kingdom operates by. Covenants should be the starting place because all of G-d's dealings with mankind is in the form of a Covenant.This book is an excellent study into Covenants; what they are, who they are for, what they mean, and why I need to be concerned about Covenants as a Christian.This book is for ministry and laity alike, and it should be read slowly and prayerfully. A fantastic resource for the Body of Christ.

I am using this book to do an indepth Bible study with a group. The book is clearly written and I like the way the themes are presented throughout the book. The only negative is that there is some repetition within each chapter, but it does help to make the point.

This book gives proper understanding of the Covenants in the Bible. It is important to know the difference say for example the Mosiac Covenant and the New Covenant. These were wrote in different eras in Christian History and have different provisions. As Pastors and teachers of the Word of God, we must bring clarity, to the body of Christ.

The book is brilliant. I am using it as the basis for a church bible study and it is really making the folks think. We are looking at the bible in a way some have never considered before with the result that there are people dipping into the bible as they have never done before. It is a challenging book well written in a way that can easily be used to teach others from.

Kevin Conner is very thorough. This book opens up the importance of covenant, and why God wants to be in covenant with us.
