Carpet was received on time and securely packaged.I searched for weeks in local stores looking for just the right carpet for my living room with no luck. I finally decided to look online. I was very leery since colors can look sooo different in person vs. a computer screen but after reading the reviews, I decided to take the chance. No regrets. The carpet is as described -- light blue with cream medallions. It's very thick and while I have noticed some shedding, I don't think it's excessive for a new carpet -- time will tell on that. For the price, this is a great deal.I still need to buy another carpet for my dining room and I will definitely be shopping for it online again.**** UPDATE 10-19-2013 ****Well, the carpet it still beautiful but it is also still shedding. I use a stick vacuum and try to be very gentle but I always end up with big lint balls and a full vacuum bag. It's just my husband and I so the carpet doesn't see a lot of use but I question whether it would hold up well if you have an active family with kids. I probably would not let a baby crawl around on it.I still do not regret purchasing it though since for the price, it's a nice carpet.

I absolutely love this area rug. I purchased it for my Master bedroom and it is so beautiful. Soft colors and great pattern set a classy and romantic mood to the room, and it is soooo soft and thick. This was my first rug purchase on line, so I wasn't sure if it would be as nice as the pictures. It is better! I ordered it on a Monday, and it arrived on Wednesday with free shipping!

It seems to be a nice rug. I'm hopeful that with time it will relax and the wrinkles will disappear.

Beautiful and has held up well for over a year and a half. The pattern isn't perfect, but who is really going to look that closely? We got this for my daughter's room so she would have something safe to crawl on. The one con I could give this is that it did shed a lot for the first 6 months. Every time I would vacuum more and more fibers would come up, but it didn't seem to effect the rug at all.

I had to contact Amazon about a major imperfection. There was an inch think line of mismatched color halfway through the rug. It doesn't seem like there is any quality control.

This carpet is NOT turquoise and gold - not even remotely. It is a very pale grayish Blue with designs in ivory. Hence, it lacks none of the drama of the pictured and described carpet .That having been said, I did read reviews so I was at least partly prepared for what I did receive for my purchase price. I purchased the 4 foot diameter round carpet to use as a wall hanging , it was not reduced in price as some of the others that I purchased.Customer service is not easy to access.They should have used a professional commercial photographer who KNOWS how to capture the colors accurately, and also a copywriter who knows English well enough to describe the colors of the real carpet accurately . It appears that someone looked at a misleading photo and described THAT, rather than looking at a real object and describing IT. Truth in advertising is a federal law in the US. There is a carelessness going on which is reflected in reviews about most of the Safavieh carpets - and this really needs to be corrected. It is a pattern of misrepresenting the carpets. Safavieh is one of the biggest brands of Oriental carpets on Amazon.That having been said, the carpet itself is beautifully made. It is thick , luxurious , nice to the touch . The IVORY designs are very well made. The ROUND shape truly is a CIRCLE.

We love this rug! It is thick and soft. It sheds but we expected that for this type of rug. It was thick enough not to need a rug pad if anchored with furniture.

OK quality carpet for a bedroom since half of it is under the bed but I wouldn't recommend I for a living room or any other living area since its sheds incredibly. Just vacuum it regularly but only with the "floor" brush, in order not to promote more shedding. Beige colour just a little darker than expected.
