I got this for my daughter for her birthday. My kids like getting kits for holidays & such that allow them to experiment & make things such as crystals, tie dye, geodes etc. My daughter had fun making some suckers, ring pop, & some pieces I call "Jolly Ranchers". The flavor isn't super strong, but she liked it anyways. There could be a few minor changes, but it is still fun to do. She made suckers for family & thought it was super cool to make suckers. I grew up making suckers & this had everything to make a couple batches. To get started to see if it is something that they like & want to continue, this is a great option.

These come with 4 flavors and a packet of sour gummy coating. The candy itself tastes a little weird, not like a commercially sold gummy. But not bad. It’s super easy and fast to make. I recommend making the water hotter than they ask for. I microwaved some water, although quite hot, it didn’t dissolve the powder completely. Definitely a fun project.

I purchased these as a birthday gift and it was perfect. The parents loved that it wasn’t just another toy and the kid loved that it was something they could make and eat! Definitely will be buying for other birthday gifts.

This is a note from us, huge mess and waste of money. We followed all directions and basically just ended up with a ton of burnt sugar. Also thinking back on it it’s the most dangerous childhood activity ever.
