UFlex Knee Brace & Support Open Patella, One Size Adjustable, Neoprene Sports Compression, Joint Pain, Arthritis, ACL Tear, Meniscus Tear, Tendonitis

I'm currently waiting for surgery on a torn knee cartilage and it was recommended that I wear a knee brace until I can have the surgery performed. I went to Amazon where I found this one so I thought I'd give it a try. The brace has helped the knee immensely especially in the are of stability. As long as you don't put it on too tight it is very comfortable to wear all day long. I will probably be wearing it post surgery until the knee is back to full strength. And, the added bonus is that an ankle support/brace comes in the package as well! Hopefully I won't ever need that, but it's there just in case.

A really good knee brace for the price. The brace appears (will know more after some use) to be constructed with quality material consisting of two thin strategically placed horizontally rubber strips on each end of the brace (top of knee and bottom of knee) to prevent slippage and retain proper placement. The knee area is well padded with two flexible vertical wire strips on each side for stabilization, I would assume. The brace fits my knee perfectly, without too much excess material wrapping around the brace. If you have a really big knee, this brace might not fit ... just saying. Ultra Flex appear to have super customer service. The owner emailed me to advise the brace had shipped and again after the brace was received to make sure I was satisfied with the product and to contact them directly with any issues.

Good morning Andrew,Yes, I received your "Ultra Flex Athletics Knee Brace" earlier this week. I've been wearing it for the past 4 days and can provide you some honest fed back concerning the Ultra Brace now. Overall, I find the brace excellent in material quality and how it securely fastens around my knee, providing me with super support over my old ACE knee support did.What I do find lacking in the Ultra Brace is that it doesn't ride above and below the knee long enough. I'd say if the upper and lower portion of the Ultra Brace was 1" to 1 1/2" longer, it would fit my leg better and provide for additional support. But, with that said, it could be that I'm just use to my ACE knee brace and how it forms and supports my knee though. The ACE brace is longer than the Ultra Brace is and I just need more time to adjust to the differences between the 2 braces though.Now, I do love the adjustability of the Ultra Brace over my none adjustable ACE brace though. I can adjust the tightness of the Ultra Brace to provide me more support than I can with my "none" adjustable ACE brace. The ACE brace stretches over time which than lacks the support for my knee that I desire and I must replace the brace to obtain the desire support I want from it. It will be interesting to see if the Ultra Brace will stretch over time and cleaning though. But, with the adjustable straps I don't see this happening, at least not like the ACE brace does.Hope my evaluation of the Ultra Brace is useful for you and your Team. The quality of this brace was very nice, no rough edges and seemed like it was going to be both comfortable and functional. However, the FAQ regarding sizing and response from Ultra Flex states that they recommend "using it for a maximum of 22-23″ above leg circumference.The tests we conducted with numerous athletes and patients showed us that the most comfortable and performance enhanced use of the knee brace is achieved for legs under 22″(above the knee circumference)." It is this last number of 22" that should be referenced. 23" and the brace doesn't have enough room left in the straps to be fully secured. Unfortunately for this reason, this just won't work and the search continues. But, again, the quality of this product definitely seemed up to the task had the sizing worked.

I bought this brace for my daughter who plays volleyball. She dislocated her patella and has been wearing a bulky knee brace that doesn't fit well under her knee pad. This brace is easy to put on and provides the support she needs to keep her patella stationary. She can easily slide her knee pad over this brace. I highly recommend this brace for a patella injury. Depending on the amount of use, (my daughter uses it daily while playing volleyball) you may need to purchase a new brace every 2-3 months. This is expected since Velcro does not last forever when applying and tearing off Velcro straps. This is not the manufacturers fault so don't leave negative feedback after a months use of this brace.

I recently had arthroscopic surgery on my knee to repair several issues. I bought this brace as an alternative to using an elastic bandage while waiting for a "walking brace". The brace has two major issues that make it totally unusable.1. The brace is advertised as "One size adjustable..." but while the upper and lower straps can be easily attached, the middle strap directly behind the knee must be pulled very tight in order to take hold. This made it painful to use.2. The brace is made of neoprene. I have used many neoprene items in the past, but this brace exudes a heavy, unpleasant chemical odor.This one is being sent back to the dealer for a refund!
