Great for "glue-as-object" projects, but not as sticky as standard sticks
My daughter and I recently got a hot glue gun -- and of course, it's been world-changing in terms of crafts, building, inventing and general creative chaos. We looked up a bunch of cool projects that were less about sticking things together and more just things to make with hot glue (fridge magnets, painting templates, jewelry), which can be more engaging and entertaining than plain old affixing and attaching.For the purposes of such projects -- this is totally 5 stars: a) a good amount of sticks b) diverse set of colors c) they look really cool once set d) the colors allow you to mold almost anything -- we even made utensils and dishes for her LOL dolls!But, the glitter / color clearly undermines the tackiness of the glue. These are nowhere near as binding / sticky / strong as regular old Elmers or Gorilla clear sticks. A huge characteristic to keep in mind, and thus dropping this down to 4 stars.So, I would only purchase these for decorating and "glue as object" type projects -- though anyone that has a glue gun, probably has standard sticks already ... so this is a nice complement/accessory to have around.

As advertised
These glue sticks were just as advertised. They were not as opaque as I was hoping but worked well, weren’t stringing. They were great decorating kids projects, but you have to color under where. You are going to apply the glue for it to make it more solid.

Bought as a daily reward for our 6 year old. Colors are very vibrant when used.

Glitter gun forever
Only downside to these is that glue gun you use for it will forever be designated glitter gun or forever find little bits of glitter in whatever other projects you're doing.
