These do give a much crisper light than the warm white equivalent (as expected). I would ideally like a 78mm bulb with a greater equivalent than 50W halogen however this is the highest 78mm LED output that I have found. It’s good enough, but brighter would be better.

These are not as bright as the quoted halogen equivalent. Certainly no good for PIR security lights. Going to have to switch back to halogen to cover the areas we need.

It didn't fit in to Living room lamp 78mm R2S type .. length was slightly larger than anticipated..money wasted

Couldn’t test the light bulbs as despite being advertised as 78mm they were actually the larger 118mm length so didn’t fit. Packaging also stated 78mm. They looked good quality though.

There seems to be no QA checks on these before dispatch. I ordered 6 of these and 2 of them are not fit for purpose. The ceramic ferrule on one end (right hand on top two bulbs in pic, bottom bulb is correct) are mounted skew on the bulb. This adds about 2mm to the length so consequently they will not fit in the lamp fitting.

Not very bright, but more likely to last more than normal warm white bulbs.

Nice bright white light. Perfect for my back garden. Not to bright to disturb the neighbours but bright enough to cover the garden.
