Image shows that the kit contains eight screw retainers (kind of self-threaded nuts), in addition to the standard set of frames, screws and screw caps. They would be very useful to attach plates to thin plastic. But in reality these nuts are missing. And they were the main reason to buy this particular kit.Revised review: e-Mailed seller about the issue. They immediately shipped missed parts, without asking any questions (it took ~10 days to arrive from China). They even included small gift as apologize for inconvenience. Very responsible and reliable seller.As far as frame itself, it looks reliable, plate fits nice and also looks nice with it.

This license plate cover is easy to install and seems durable. It's a bit pricey though compared to others advertised on Amazon. But maybe it is more durable ?

These work on ANY Vehicle that I have tried so far. They look sharp and really are so much better than any type of tag frame or cover that I have tried over the years. The weep holes are my favorite feature and they work. Take your time putting them on and I have never had one tear on me yet. Great product!

I bought a set for my vehicle (Acura ILX-TX Plates) and a second as a gift for a friend who just bought a new car (Mazda 3-CO Plates). These are compatible with both of our vehicles and plates and we both love them so far! I used the screws and caps that came in the kit for the front bumper because they fit my car’s license plate mount perfectly. My back bumper only has 2 screw holes on the top, and the screws were incompatible size-wise, so I just used my own original screws. However, if you’re super picky, there is a paper it came with that said you can contact them to have them send you a different size screw free of charge which is nice. [I left the caps off of the back bumper screws because I thought it looked better, and a little less “busy” on my car. Personal preference].I like these so much more than the flimsy plastic ones that rattle, or the bulky looking metal ones. It makes my car look much more clean, sleep, and “nicer”. It adds a nice minimalism and simplicity to the appearance of the vehicle.It has been pouring rain since I installed them, and (so far), the holes in the bottom for drainage are doing their job just fine.If I had ANYTHING negative to say (not that it bothers me in any way at all), it’s that they’re a tad wide. You have to be careful to center your plates well inside the frame before you attach it to your car. Mine aren’t perfectly centered but they’re completely secure.I would definitely recommend these! I’ll have to come back in 6 months and see how “weatherproof” they are. I’m in TX and it’s about to get reallllllly hot outside. We shall see!

The mounting hardware worked for securing the lens, plate, and silicone backing to my car. However, there are these little black buttons that are intended to cover up those mounting screws. Those buttons will not stick on without falling off. You will need to modify to fit in order to get them to stay in place. First of all, forget about the instructions and the plans for the washers. You will need two washers minimum under each of the plastic clear cups for the screws. Those clear plastic cups cannot be engaged by the black plastic caps unless those cups are raised significantly. After that modification, you may begin adding a disk about the size of a nickel of freezer bag thickness, or thicker plastic bag material grade plastic to the black caps so they fit the clear cups on the screw heads tight enough to not fall off.

Can't speak to longevity because I've only just installed it, but I can foresee losing the button caps quiky but the rest of the product looks to be nicely thought-through. Perhaps larger headed screws and losing the button caps would make the product last longer, but that's just a guess at this point. All-in-all, lost 10 off the price and this would be a perfect item. At the current price it's simply good.

This was a totally waste of money. I’m might send this back. I can’t even contact seller. Please don’t buy it. Also, the silicone rubber is too big so your license plate slides around in it. The plastic is very thin and will crack in a year with the weather. Total waste of money. I have 30 days to return this. I just might. Don’t buy! The other reviews were right.
