Great
Used this item on a shooing bench ,and a Selestron 12 x36 power 60 mm objective Spotting scope.Used a pipe clamp on edge of bench pipe sticking up , Used a super clamp studio clip mount #B092HBZP8B Fotoconic brand clamped to pipe between ball head. This set up really works great. The clamp, ball head and scope can be clamped to almost anything. Low down to tripod leg for Horizonal position shooting. Tree limbs Note both the Clamp and the Ball head are rated at 33 lb. loads. This will handle much larger scopes. and other equipment. If more length is needed between clamp and ball head try a camera flash bracket # B07Z4VLXSP WELLMAKING Only rated at 12 lbs. God Bless America JOE

An incredible ball head for the price!
Don't think you can get a better head for the price. Very sturdy and substantial ball head. Compared to the Leofoto LH-30, I would say the Leofoto is better in all regards except the holding power. The LH30 tends to droop down if you don't re-apply the friction control when you want to point your lens downward. Not this ball head, it holds it firmly w/o moving. The rest of the ball head is good qualify, however, not as refined as the LH30. Of course, you're talking about a $26 ball head versus the $125 one. But, if I did not have the LH30, i would not hesitate to use this one instead. The wish list:A bit lighter weight. It seems a bit too heavy compared to the LH30.The movement of the ball could be smoother, but I think it is part of the holding power.A bit lower profile. could be a plus or minus, and I Know the more expensive model is lower but costs $80+ and is also heavier. I don't want heavy ball head.FYI. I had Arca Swiss Z1, RRS BH-40, RRS BH-25, Markins Q3, so I know what I want, and this one is good enough to use with some caveats.

Well built
I use this for my 360 camera, it works well, movement is easy. My only negative is that the bubbles on the levels are very small and hard to see in low light.

Not quite level
Nice ballhead but the level is not accurate. If that was the only reason I ordered it, I would return. The ballhead itself is very nice. Would recommend for ballhead only but not for level.

It's a hefty, strong ballhead for surprisingly low cost.
I am really very impressed with this ballhead. The knobs turn very easily and clamp down well. It's easy to tell when the ballhead it firmly locked in place and the head can take a LOT of weight without budging. This isn't a lightweight piece of equipment, so I've got it on my big tripod rather than my travel tripod (both Induro). The weight is maybe the only downside. Perhaps some manufacturers can produce a ballhead of equal strength with more lightweight materials. That being said, it's the most rock solid ballhead I've used. I was really uncertain how professional this would feel for the money, but I've turned out really happily surprised.

Better than expected
I have a light weight tripod with a 3-way head that I did not like and have been looking for a ball head for some time. This one being machined appealed to me and was reasonably priced so ordered it. I am using it with a Sony A6000 and it works great. It came with two plates so have one on the camera and the other on a telephoto lens. It is solid and for the price it looks great. So far very pleased.

Great for the price
Great for the price. Adjustment has some slop in the screw (not a huge deal, you can feel it tighten up and loosen).Wouldn't put anything super heavy on it, my 6 lb spotting scope is ok, definitely wouldn't trust it to a 15 lb lens.

Perfect
It's the best at this price range. It comes with two quick-release plates and separate knobs for adjusting tilt and rotation. It has other uses other than photography. I use it for zoom meetings as well as holding my projector to watch movies on the ceiling!

Landscape only!!
I have only used it at home before taking it to an event to save myself from embarrassment. Luckily I did save myself by doing that test. It’s ok if you want to use it for landscape photography. I tried it with my light weight camera Nikon d7500 with 17-55 f2.8 lens. It holds well in landscape but when I tilt it to portrait mode. The quick release plate became loose straight away. I tried to tighten up the screw as much as possible but still it couldn’t hold the camera in position for more than few seconds. I think the rubber pads on the plate are not really good therefore the plate starts slipping and becomes loose as it is only held by one screw without second pin to stop any rotation.I will give it another go using something rubbery in between the camera and the quick release plate and see if it works. If that doesn’t work. Sadly I will have to send it back and try something better.

Good value for excellent product
Decent for the price, weight is good, study enough to hold FF body and 135 prime lens for astrophotography. Panning is smooth.

Read the good reviews so maybe I got a poor example
Upon opening the box and removing the Tripod Ball Head the larger level FELL out of the body. I will not be able to use until I get a 3/8" adapter so that it can be attached to my tripod. Note the base has a 3/8" base connection (most cameras and camera equipment use a 1/4" connection).
