Surgeons have scalpels. Auto Techs have these.
I’ve used these daily for a few weeks. No, they won’t replace all other clip tools but these are the best trim tools for when you need precision. The chrome plating is great. Plastic tools eventually develop burrs that can mar and gouge. These tools do have knife-point tips and while you probably don’t wanna use them as pry bars, I find that this feature reduces the necessity for a separate hook tool.TLDR; these are slick, sturdy trim tools that are worth adding to your box.June 2023 Update!!!Now I have used these almost daily since last September. They are invaluable! The quality is top-tier and the functionality exceeds many of the big name brands. I am updating this because I have just purchased a second set for back up, in case I “misplace” one and/or they become unavailable in the future. They’re that good!

Great thin sturdy trim tool!
Super sturdy. I use them more often than any other trim tool! Perfect for tough retainers with very low tool clearance. Super thin gets in everywhere, hasn’t bent or broken yet. I’ve dropped it several times. Its fine. Its ferrous, so if you drop it inside a door you can fish it out with a magnet pickup tool. If you’re cautious it wont mar plastic panels. More caution around painted parts.Cons: the pointy end. I stabbed myself several times in the palm or hip/belly by holding it improperly while using it or bending down while its in my pocket. Wont be long before you start becoming consciously aware of the pointy side.Overall great tool and totally worth it.———UPDATE———This tool is so useful and indispensable to my daily work that i wanted to write a review today, forgetting that i already wrote a review on this. I have purchased it 3 times now because i’ve misplaced it twice (i probably lose it in a customer’s car. If they find it they’ll probably use it as a letter opener or throwing knife) when i dont have THIS SPECIFIC tool it frustrates me because no other trim tool compares. I have snap-on trim tools, matco trim tools harbor freight trim tools. Plastic. Metal. Nothing compares to these two little thin pry tools. They’re the best.

Quality tools
These are nicely finished and the stabby end isn't sharp on the tip so it won't scratch too easily unless you're really getting at it which at that point it's probably your fault for not using a plastic tool.

As described.
They came as described, and are quite handy to have. They are sturdy enough to pry with on certain things. Would buy again if needed.

Very good, but not for everything.
Very good for stubborn interior panels, or the very hard plastic ones that bend the plastic pry tools. Caution should’ve exercised as that can and deform softer plastic panels.

Surpassed Expectation
Might be the prettiest tool in my tool cabinet. I use them all the time for many various duties. Really a nice surprise. Heavy in the hand and smooth to the touch. Nicely finished in perfect chrome.
