As those of you who bought this meter from Risantic probably know you received an email from Rich Riley prior to it arriving thanking us for buying his product and to let him know if we had any problems with the meter. I thought this was a nice touch but as we all know saying and doing are two different things. Well I received my meter and I was trying to calibrate it. Water got inside the meter and the meter was ruined. I was going to just let it go but I kept thinking about the email Rich sent me and decided to let him know about the problem, not really expecting much. I emailed him at 7am central time and within 10 minutes he answered. He apologized for the problem. Said it was probably a defective meter and refunded my full purchase price and sent me a new meter free. It arrived in 2 days. This one is working well. It is so refreshing to see someone that really knows how to treat a customer. He went way above what we are used to and what we have come to expect from companies that frankly just don't care. Thanks Rich.

So far, so good!!Perfect meter for the pool. So much better than using drops or strips. You do not need a color coordinated eye to use this meter.This meter calibrates quickly and easily. You can use deionized water or you can use distilled to mix the calibration buffer solutions. You should also keep on hand a small container of distilled or deionized water for rinsing the meter after use. If you are not going to use the meter for awhile, then it is suggested that a small amount of distilled or deionized water be place in the cap of the meter and stowed away.Have had the meter for about a week. Brought a sample to the pool company and the meters' accuracy was spot on with the fancy piece of lab equipment at the pool store. Time will tell how long the calibration lasts, the availability of buffer solutions. Will keep this post updated.Now, if I could only get a meter that measured chlorine, I would be one really happy pool owner.

Came calibrated (Though I calibrated it again just to be sure) and it has been working great. I like how easy this is to calibrate, and I saved the calibration stuff in a jar to re-use for a while. Probably should give me a few months before I need to get any more.Definitely would recommend this one.EDIT: I liked it so much I've now purchased a second one.

I got this little meter per the reviews. The first time I used it the window fogged up a bit and I was going to return it. My other meter took a dive and I grabbed this one. The window was clear again and it gave me a good reading. Checked it in reference solutions and it was with in .02 high in the 7.1 solution. Spot on in the 10 and .06 high at 4. I use it every day now. It has stayed in range and has been very reliable. Not bad for 20 bucks.

Getting the PH balance correct for my new spa had been the hardest thing in keeping my tub right. With a little research I came across this meter and so far it has worked like a charm. What has separated this from the pack though is the support. Even though I haven't had any problems, they have contacted me twice to make sure that one, I was happy with my purchase and then a follow up days later to make sure again. That is some fantastic customer service.

This meter was recommended to test the Ph of my pool. I am not a big believer in the accuracy of battery operated,things but I decided to try it as the price seemed reasonable. I was surprised how easy it was to set calibrate and get ready to use. I swirled it around in the pool, got the reading and then tested it against the reading from the old fashion chemicals. It was virtually the same. Just to be sure, I repeated the process a few days later, and again the results were the same. This meter will eliminate the need for purchasing and keeping the old chemicals around. Assuming the battery lasts for a while, I am grateful to be able now to quickly monitor the pool's status.

I was AMAZED at how I have been misled by some companies selling water for high prices, that is no better than the water coming out of my faucet. So glad I bought this PH Meter that will save me a ton of money that I would have wasted on bottled water that is no better then tap water.

The perfect device for measuring accurately the pH of pool water. Device calibration is a breeze. I have crossed checked the measurement using Taylor Technology test kits and was a perfect match. You can trust the readings of this device but make sure you re-calibrate it periodically. Calibration powders (pH 4.01, 6.86 and 9.18) with clear instructions come with the device.
