Small Vintage Canvas Leather Messenger Crossbody Bag Pack Organizer

I have a problem. I go through bags frequently. I just like the change, and there's always a new one that I like more than previous ones. While I was hunting for a small but versatile bag for an upcoming Disney World vacation, I had narrowed my options down to this Berchirly bag and another similarly sized/designed bag of another brand. I wasn't sure if the bag would be too small, so I ordered it knowing I could easily exchange it for the other bag if needed.For this vacation we wanted to drastically simplify what we carried into the parks, but as a mom of 5, I still needed enough room for a diaper or two (size 3 in particular, for size reference) and a small pack of wipes, as well as a thin wallet (thinner than my everyday wallet, purchased particular for this reason), my cell phone, a small camera (the one used in the picture is just one I found, but I will be taking a slightly larger Canon Powershot), a pen, chapstick, and maybe a granola bar or some small snacks for the kids. At first I wasn't sure if this Berchirly bag would work, because while the small size is very desirable, the design of the bag is such that it gets slightly narrower at the opening, so while it is wider within the body and on the bottom of the bag, the tighter opening made me wonder if I'd be able to fit what I needed inside.I'm happy to report that I did a "trial packing" of the bag and everything fits with room and pockets to spare! I love the compact size but still having enough pockets to customize the storage. There is a zippered pocket along the back, along the front flap, and along the back inside the body of the back. Also inside, along the front, are two open pouches. I've added a picture of the depth of those pouch style pockets, as they aren't deep enough to store a pen, for example, but they would be perfect for chapstick or something closer to that height. The body size can be expanded with a zipper for a little more space inside.The canvas is very sturdy. I was so impressed with the quality of the bag for the price I paid! It looks easy to keep clean and it just feels like a good, solid bag. It carries nicely and is small enough to stay close to my body without flopping against me while I walk like some messenger/crossbody style bags can do. I also love the neutral colors, they are timeless!I highly recommend this bag for anyone wanting a small but versatile option, for everyday use or for travel. Headlines: Incredibly compact. Smartly designed. Deceptively large storage capacity. Versatile. A great little bag at a bargain price.“Man bag.” “Man purse.” “Murse.” These were the terms I googled to try and find a small, cross-body bag that could still carry a variety of things in various compartments — keys, wallet, cell phone, etc. I hate having a bunch of things stuffed in my pockets, but I also didn’t want a bulky messenger stylebag for just the key essentials. This bag was the perfect solution. I have taken it on vacation and fit all these items in it at once: cell phone, sun glasses case, eye glasses case, cell phone battery cable, extra battery brick for phone, earbuds case, wallet, and more. And I could’ve rearranged things to fit a mini Ipad as well.The multiple zipper compartments and overall thoughtful design are what separate this bag from the others I looked at in the category. The material is sturdy and attractive as well. For dudes, it’s masculine enough not to come off as a “murse” but more like an Indiana Jones canvas satchel for when he is doing his less taxing errands. The cover flap is great for allowing larger things like a folded up magazine to still be carried undercover, it just means not connecting to the velcro closure tab, which is not a big deal. Additionally, when you unzip the perimeter zipper to expand the depth of the bag, it is gives even more space.Bottom line: You want a grab and go bag that is light and rugged, yet still stylish and affordable... this is the one.

The quality of this small bag is simply amazing, it presents like one much more expensive, several times over. The color is a rich brown and the crafting of the canvas is such that it almost reads like suede or leather. Quite handsome, for women and men. I am 5’ 7” and the shoulder strap was ample, such that I can readily wear it as a cross body bag or just over my shoulder. I fit my wallet, a large sunglass case, my cell phone, car keys, gloves, tissues, chapstick, small Sony Cybershot camera, and protein bar inside, with room to spare. There are outside pockets and divided pockets inside, with the ability to unzip and expand the outside to make it larger. A paperback book would fit as well as a 16 oz water bottle (you would just have to prioritize what you needed most for your trip that day). Lightweight and quite comfortable. The size is more of a medium in my mind and has a good proportionality with your body, looks substantial, but neither a regular sized purse nor a tiny one. When I get a chance I will post a pic with it cross body (hint- something the seller should do) so you can see the size and how well it fits.This is a powerhouse of a little bag, attractive, well made, reasonably priced and a cool way to carry your stuff. I like the Velcro front clasp for security reasons as I prefer wearing it cross body, slung behind me, and it would not be possible for someone to open it without your knowing. Am going to now purchase the larger bag in the same color for when I want to take along my iPad.
