Big improvement over previous generations
I needed a headlamp with red light for night time use. Compared to a headlamp I bought a few years ago, this one has the neoprene headband (lighter than woven with velcro) and just one plastic piece, making the overall headband much lighter. I'm sure it will be more comfortable. I cannot comment on the battery life, especially in the cold. I'll update my review if I am disappointed.

Decent light
Bought it for taking out the trash at night. Very comfortable. Light is more like 80 lumen instead of 170, but it's still bright enough for my use. With a fresh set of batteries it lasted about 8 hours on low setting. This light does not adjust up or down so I have to position it almost right between my eyes. Haven't tested it for waterproof. Overall I'm happy with it.

Utilitarian and flexible
Yes Yes Yes! Finally a headlamp that remembers what mode it was last used on. I use headlamps all the time while doing various carpentry projects. There is nothing more frustrating than working on a project where I need to quickly turn on my headlamp only to then need to cycle through multiple modes to my preferred setting. The low setting is perfect for the work I do and with this headlamp I’m able to quickly activate the low mode without the nuisance of cycling through all 4 modes. I do find the other modes useful at times, but enjoy the simplicity. It is also very light weight and small enough that it doesn’t get in the way when I’m working in my super low crawl space under my house.

Has a memory
Bright enough for me to do what I need. Best thing is the memory of last setting. When you turn it off just hold the power button around five seconds it turns off and then you turn it back on it will be on the last setting. Have to wait and see how durable it is

Nice light
Works as described. Instructions do not show to install batteries (not included in mine). You must pull the entire light housing out of the rubber holder. The "night vision" is just a red LED light, not really night vision - except maybe in China ??

Good but make sure it’s not a used one
Fits great. Mine didn’t come with the batteries the manual said it should come with. Tbh I think I got a returned item. May exchange. Other than that, I do like it and would recommend.
