Works as intended - Technical "Know How" may be required
TL;DR: The product worked perfectly for my needs. If you are not comfortable with computers and manipulating drive partitions, this may not be the product for you.My Experience With the Product:I have a Dell Inspiron 14 5000 (5406) 2-in-1, running windows 10, on a 256 GB 2230 NVME, protected with Bitlocker. The laptop only has one NVME slot and I needed more space. I didn't want to reinstall windows on the new drive. I just wanted to clone it. So, I bought a 1 TB 2280 NVME and this offline cloner.I put both drives into the cloner and followed the instructions on the amazon store page. The instructions that were included with the package were harder to follow than the ones here. The cloning process took about 5 minutes. The device gets very warm so I would advise you place it on a metal surface, with a fan if you can.The cloning itself had zero issues and I was able to plug and play the new drive in my laptop. If you use Bitlocker, make sure you have your recovery key as it will ask for it the first time you boot up from the new drive. When cloning to a bigger drive it puts the source drive as a partition, leaving the extra space on your new drive as an unallocated partition. In my case, I had a 4 recovery/Microsoft partitions and my main OS C: partition that equaled 256 GB (size of my original drive). The remaining space on my 1 TB drive was left as unallocated space. I had to use Gparted to merge the unallocated space and my OS C: partition since they weren't adjacent to each other but since this is merely a bit cloner I was expecting to have to do this. If you're lucky and your partitions are adjacent, as I imagine most computers would be, than you can just extend the OS C: partition using the Disk Management tool in Windows.Review:If you are aware of the potential extra steps you will have to take to successfully clone your drive, this is a fantastic product.

It clones as expected but not auto expanding the free partition if you clone to a large SSD volume
I clone my 512G SSD to a new 2T SSD and it works.Pros:Good and robust casing and sliding cover design.Fast cloning that takes only <30mins.Small form factor to easy carry aroundIt clones exactly the same system boot partition and I can boot the drive without any issue.Good if you don't have 2 m.2 NvME slots to prepare the drivesCons:Expensive. Can be cheaper. It won't fully expand the partition and it needs a partition manager software to re-part the size after cloning if you are cloning from a small disk to a large volume. It is super hot and burns my hands for cloning or use as external disk enclosure modes, esp. the case is all aluminum. Beware. It needs the power adapter to use it as an external disk, unless other external usb enclosure with power through USB, which isn't convenient.Power adapter is big in sizeDangerous if you put 2 SSDs for external USB usage as you can easily press the button to start cloning that erases other ssd accidentially

Extremely Fast and Easy M.2 Cloning
Super easy to use. Just inster both of your M.2 drives, making sure that you have the right drive in the right slot, and push the button. The process takes a little while but was MUCH faster than the last time I cloned a full SSD through SATA ports. Extremely simple and convenient, the only someone inconvenient part is that it requires a wall plug for power as opposed to just a USB, and that it runs quite hot while cloning. With the speed that it was copying the data though I'm not surprised at the heat generated.Overall very pleased and would recommend, it should be noted I only have used it for the cloning feature, I did not try using it as an external enclosure.

Haven't Used It Yet, But These Little Rubber "Bolts" Are Ridiculous
I owned a computer business for many years and have been involved with broadcast electronics for decades, so I am well versed in computers and other types of equipment.I had a helluva time getting these little rubber stoppers out of and back into the holes on the circuit board. In fact, it took so much force that I was afraid I was going to break the board.Ridiculously, stupidly designed. Why in the heck they couldn't simply include a little screw for each module is beyond me.I'll update this review once I figure out if this thing is going to perform its intended function, but I just had to write this review of my initial impression. Geez.

Runs way too hot
Good idea, but gets very hot. Not being bus powered is also a drawback (I know I purchased it that way) but it looks the best.

rubber 'bolts'
I've used the copier once. It took less than 10mins to clone a 500GB M2 SSD with only 30GB used.Great product. It has saved me 2+ hours of copying configs. I cannot vouch for the durability of the product; only time will tell.As noted by another review, those plastic/rubber bolts are very difficult to use.MANUFACTURER: Can you make the hole in the PCB oval (or square) and give us oval (or square) bolts? So that we can just pop them in and turn to lock in place?

I do not recommend this product!
My Original post was semi-positive but now after attempting to clone a drive and have it fail to do anything after a dozen or so attempts and waiting hours for it to do something. I decided to connect my SSK m.2 Bay and use Acronis to clone the drive. As I attempted to connect the drive and initialize it, I recevied a Fatal hardware error. After reading through the documentation I noticed that this device software doesn't include a smart check and is recommended to backup before trying to clone? what!that right there is a major flaw in the product.*Orginal Post*Okay, I have to say very well made, the only issue I see is that when cloning a drive the status indicator lights do not reflect what the heck is going on, I have to wait until it goes to 25% before I know it's doing anything.... uhh really.

Does what it says on the box!
Worked as expected. Just follow the instructions. If you are having issues it's either the SSD or the user.
