BEAUTIFUL COLOURED WEATHERPROOF LIGHTS
These are beautiful coloured lights very much like the vintage glass ones but these are plastic and therefore not breakable. They are see through like the glass ones were and are completely waterproof unlike the old glass ones which used to fill up with water. We have tried many oldy worldy style lights over the years but these are by far the very best and most attractive set of lights we have ever had. Although they are LED bulbs we got some replacement ones with the set, so we can have these forever! Happy days! I would highly recommend them. I don't think they are just for Christmas they could be for any occasion. They are on a transformer too.

Need different hooks
Nice size of bulbs used on the outside of our home at Christmas but the gutter clips/hooks are really brittle and snap easily. We bought different clips for the wire and that did the job.

Nice long string of 50 coloured lights.
The coloured lamps inside the globes look like old fashioned glass fairy lights but if you look closely there is no filament, just an led at the base of each one. The controller has 7 or 8 functions which are selected with a push button which works fine but if you switch them off then back on it always goes back to the first which is to cycle through each mode. If, like me, you power them from a timer in the garage it means that you only get the first function, unless you want to go out every night and set the function you want. For me I would have preferred the first one to be "always on" as I'm not bothered about flashing or fading modes. Minor criticism but best to be aware of it. Recommended.

Great lights
Exactly what I wanted. A set of lights that looked like old fashioned festoon lights. These ones work inside or out and the colours are vibrant and the bulbs stay cool to the touch.
