This product consists of a plastic strip with adhesive on two sides between two sheets of slick paper. You would think that it would be easy to separate the sheets and affix the tape strip to whatever you are trying to hang. Not in the least. Just separating the paper from the adhesive strips is a major project as the strips stick to the sheets at random times. You can stretch a strip out of shape and damage it beyond usability very easily. If you are able to get one side of the paper off and stick the exposed side of the strip to whatever, then your challenge is to peel off the top sheet without damaging the strip. My success rate has been poor. I have had to throw away about 20% of these as they get damaged trying to separate the sheets.If you are successful in separating the sheets from the strip and it adheres to whatever you are hanging you have a good chance that you have been successful, unless a strip or two give up adhesion, then you're back to square one.The alternative is nails and sometimes that is not practical. There are not very many alternatives that will hold any weight, so you may be forced to use these because of circumstances. Just be very careful peeling the sheets and employ a boat load of patience.

I have ordered these twice. First time I received exactly what is advertised I loved it. However the second time, the adhesive strips were cut in half and they remaining portion inside the box was filled with foam. They gave me half of the product. I am not kidding, they literally cut the size of 1 adhesive in half, and put it in the same large box pictured, the remaining space in the box was filled with foam!!
