This is a fantastic switch! I really love the look. I used this on one of my boombox builds. It really makes the look and it kind of has a hypnotic effect on people. I will most certainly buy more of these in the future.The Positives: It is long enough to be surface mounted on 1/2" thick wood. That's a plus for me since making mounting plates for switches and knobs can be a pain. The instructions and wiring diagrams were easy to understand and made wiring simple. I used a soldering iron on mine and it didn't melt any plastic either, so that's good too!Also, I don't normally comment on customer service because I rarely have to interact with them. But they did reach out to me post-sale to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I replied that I was, and sent them photos of my project. They were quick to respond and even had some nice things to say about my work! Not many companies care enough to go that extra mile so this was particularly noteworthy for me.The only bad thing is, and it's a really small thing not worthy of removing a star for, I had to go buy a 5/8" drill bit. Most drill bit sets only go up to 1/2" and that is not wide enough to fit the body through. But now I have a 5/8" drill bit which means I can install as many of these switches as I want to, now!If aesthetics and wow-factor are what you're going for, you can't do much better than these. Seriously. Just buy them.

First off, the quality of these switches is impressive, with their precisely machined stainless steel housing, and the very attractive LED lighted ring around the button. They also came with clear, and precise wiring instructions which was great because, unlike most SPST switches which have 2 pins, these switches have 5 pins. The machine I'm building is to be sold, and even though these switches cost roughly twice as much as switches I have been using, my finished product looks so much more professional, that I'll easily be able to recover the extra $20 I spent by adding $100 to the price of machine. Now this is what impressed me most about this seller. I bought 5 switches from this seller, for use in an unusual control box which incorporates 4 different DC voltages within the same box. These are 12 V switches, and my voltages range from 24 V DC, down to 5 V DC. I was pretty sure that 24 V would burn out the LEDs, and I was concerned that the ones switching 5 V wouldn't have much brightness to the LEDs. Because of my concerns, I used the "Ask the Seller" feature, to send an email to them, asking what the best solutions might be. I hoped to hear back from them with a couple of days. To my surprise, and delight, five hours later they replied with detailed instructions which resistors to use, and where to put them to make everything work. That's awesome customer service!

Using with 24 volts- 10 18650 batteries - 3300 mah each and it works well.

There's nothing really to complain about on the the light, though I do recommend getting the pigtail with the switch if you have the room for it. The pigtail makes wiring easy, but doesn't lend itself to keeping things compact (in length). It has a nice solid feel to it, but unlike many push button switches, this one does not return to its original starting position once engaged. It's by no means an inconvenience, just a little different. If you need to tactilely and/or visually determine if a push button switch is on or off, this one would fit the bill.I have the version with the white light, and it's bright enough to be seen in the daytime. However, I'm using mine in conjunction with a 12V relay to turn on my trucks auxiliary fog light. At night it's a little distracting, not terrible, but definitely adds a noticeable glow to the cab. I may try and dim this down with a resistors though (tbd if this is doable).I can't speak for longevity of the switch at this time, but I imagine as long as one doesn't incessantly click the button it should last for quite a while.

I bought three of these switches and they came packed nicely and had a diagram that was easy to read and understand (if you understand basic switch technology/terminology). I had a few questions and sent an email to Ulincos's support team. To my surprise and delight, I got a response from "Fish" in just about an hour. He answered my questions and was very helpful. I decided to use one of the switches in an application where I needed to switch ground to the target. I was fairly sure I could do this and was about to experiment, when I thought I will ask Fish and see if I had the right idea (been several decades since I did any automotive switch design). Again, in about an hour, I got a response from Fish. He was kind enough to provided a couple of wiring examples to help me. He basically confirmed my idea and then I tested the design in my "lab", it worked. I need to try it in my classic car, but I am sure it will work. I would highly recommend this switch...BTW, I am not associated with this supplier nor have I ever used their product before. Hope this helps.Harry T.

Very high quality switch. Installed in dash of hummer h2 to turn on/off power to a secondary rear view camera. I bought the blue 16mm version, along with the pigtail connecor for it. The light can easily be seen during the day, and is not overpowering bright at night at all.With the 16mm version, the hardest part was finding a drill bit the correct size. I used a stepped drill bit, which got me close to the correct size, and hand filed it a little more. The top bezel is not that much larger in diameter than the stem, so you have to be careful not to open up the mounting hole too much.

Amazing!!!! Order other switches that were no good. Ordered this one and it was amazing!!! Why? Cause it came with crystal clear instructions, it worked and also because i got the wiring harness which was available. These guys get it. I would imagine most are DIY and as such need help and guidance. I really appreciated the instructions and also the ease of use it was with the wiring harness. So much so i even changed my mind on color, popped switch out, reordered the blue and popped it in when it arrived the next day. And - now my home made audio selector switch with working LED works like a charm!!!! Thank very much for playing a role with your amazing product!!!!!

Bought to allow me to independently power on/off aftermarket stereo for a Dodge Caravan. Nice looking switch matches the LED perfectly. Used a drill bit perfectly and fits snugly. Allows for NO and NC, light on all the time or on just when switch is closed.

You have the option to have the light always on, on when unit is on or on when unit is off. Pretty decent and even light and build.
