I paid $500 for the kayak. Great deal. its very long at 13.5 feet.You are only getting the kayak, it has zero compartments to store anything dry, it does not come with a paddle, and the seats are so cheap that you cannot even sit up and use them. You'll have to sit crossed legged when you are paddling. They will not hold the average person's weight or a child if trying to sit up and lean back against it. So be advised you will need to buy a paddle and new seats. Cheers.

Nice kayak for the price. Like the color. It’s big. No frills. If you want storage you will need to cut and add yourself but since I’m just using behind the house not a problem for me. One thing I was not happy about was that pictures show pad eyes installed to be able to connect middle seat. Mine came without pad eyes for middle seat. I called and they said they no longer include them (they should update product photo). I had to by my own pad eyes and install with rivets. Why say it’s a 3 seater when you can’t use middle seat comfortably as sold? Cost me $30 for pad eyes, rivets and rivet gun and 20 minutes of work to add them. I paddle myself and my 8 and 6 yr olds on it no problem.

This is great recreational kayak, very stable even on the beach, it doesn't track very well with only me on it (I'm 220 lbs) but is a very stable platform, is not the fastest kayak out there but it can handle a lot of weight, easily 3 adults or 2 adults plus lots of gear, I use it to go kayaking with my 2 teenage boys and could easily handle more weight, I also use it for Kayak camping with another person and a lot of gear, the only time I don't use this kayak is when I'm paddling more than 8 miles, the big size and with makes it not too practical for long distances

I really like this kayak. My wife and I like to use it. Be warned, it is heavy (80 lbs) so getting it on top of the car by yourself is difficult. I end up holding the handles and balancing it on my head to get it on the car. I have paddled in it solo, but you will need to add hardware in order to clip the seat in the middle position. At first, I thought it sucked that the manufacturer omitted the hardware for the center seat, but if you carry the kayak from the middle handle, the hardware will dig into your thigh. So if you don't need it, don't add the hardware.

We absolutely love this tandem kayak! Even better than we expected!! I am able to ride in it by myself in the back seat which was a fun surprise. We are excited to try it out with our dog. Adjustable straps make the back support is very comfortable. (We added 2 seat cushions, they double as a Throwable flotation devices. Makes it more comfortable for long rides.) Highly recommend this kayak!

This was the best choice for us. Needed tandem for family situation. Boat tracks decently and can get it moving quite well with adult and 10yo. Have not yet tried two adults but imagine that is fine with both paddling. Drawback is heavy nature of boat for loading and unloading off the vehicle. Second drawback would be lack of storage compartment.But, not sure hundreds more dollars for 10 lbs less weight is worth it. Best price, shipping, from here. Would absolutely buy again and buy again from Amazon if I was purchasing again today.

This kayak was perfect for use by myself and for my children. I took it out in rough waters and the kayak was very stable. I felt very comfortable using this with my children 10 and 8 to take them out on their own. I also loved that I could take them both out as this is a three seater. I wish that it came with another support for the third seat. Also would like to know if there is a sturdier back to offer more support for my back?

I rented this before and really loved it which is why I bought it. The problem is that this is 80# over 13.5'. I can lift 80#, but not when it's distributed over 13.5'. it proved difficult (read: impossible by myself) getting it on top of my SUV by myself because I bought this for me and my 10yo. If you are able to transport and carry it, this is a fantastic kayak. It's very stable and comfortable for riding in all day and has storage bungees in the back. There's plenty of space as well if you're taller.
