Works well for the 120 volt water heater in our laundry
Please ignore the review that I uploaded a few minutes ago. It was for a different product. This product, the outlet timer, is exactly what we needed for the small 120 volt water heater in our laundry. We turn that on when we need to have a hot wash but we forgot to turn it off when the wash is done. This timer prevents that from happening we set it for 20 minutes, the water gets hot we run the wash and it shuts itself off. Perfect. I gave it four stars because it is probably perfect for lights but no good for fans. Trust me.

Works well!
Installed easily and works as expected. This is the third wall timer for this exhaust fan in the past 5 years, all different brands. Some of the reviews here also report a short life for this timer also so we will see how it goes.

Just what I wanted color did not quite match switch cover, white is a tad brighter.
This thing is just what I wanted! It controls the fan in my bathroom. I just tested the 5-minute timer as I just installed it but it works great!! The 5 mins was right on!!The one thing I found off was it was a slightly brighter white than the white switch plate I bought so it does not quite match. I am not sure if the switch plate color is off or the color on the timer. It did not quite match the old white switch color I removed..Not a huge deal but makes my ODC go a tad crazy.All in all so far so good.

Nice timer, great buttons
Nice item, the buttons are molded with labels molded into them. Firm actuation of the buttons gives a nice tactile feedback. Overall, great product at a great price. :-)

Failed just before eight years. Previous one made in USA was still good after 30 years.
Mine only lasted just below eight years, however the original timers I used this were still working from the 1980s when the home was built. I see these are made by Ningbo Bainian in China. I replaced this failed device with a Leviton but that is also made in China so I'm not optimistic the Leviton will last. We really need to try and start making more items here in the USA that will last and be of better quality. I am willing to pay twice as much to get something I know I will not be replacing as frequently.
