works for our 8ish year old mix lab but, does nada for a overly wild crazy 2mth old german shepherd puppy…i guess it is why it says not for puppies under 6mths, may not work for them.. still useful however for getting our mix lab to stop her mean girl growling when puppy comes near anything that is hers and even not hers right now.. charged up quickly and easy to use, just push a button quickly or longer if needed, quickly is all it takes for our mix lab (i think it is the actually beeping noise it makes when you push button that scares her though for she reacts the same with beep noise on one of our thermometers)…puppy wasn’t even remotely deterred with this anti device even when i held button down for awhile, which resulted in me actually hearing the noise it emits (am cursed with extra good hearing though so may be why).. i would still buy it again, will be useful when pup gets older if even needed then that is..

I deliver packages for a living and needed something to warn off aggressive dogs! This little device works very well for scaring away dogs. I keep it handy in my pocket and if a dog ignores my treat that I give out to distract them until I have delivered my package, then I zap them with this device. I try to not let the doggos see the device, but use it inside my pocket aimed at them. The sound is imperceptible to me but to the doggies I sound like an alien from another world....they cower down or run away immediately!!!! No matter how mean or nasty that doggo is they will flee from me when I zap them. This little device works very well and has saved my bacon many times! But...you must keep it hidden from there sight for the full effect. I recommend keeping it hidden in your hand (if you have big hands), otherwise keep it inside of your pocket. I use it thru a thin material in my vest I wear. Also...it doesn't work on deaf dogs!!! Also...it has little effect on packs of dogs, because the dogs will encourage each other and that nullifies the effect. But to one or two dogs, it works great! Also...it works best with a full charge so keep the batteries charged up at all times. Now don't relie on this device alone, carry other deterents also for backup...just like a cop carries a radio to call for help, and other devices besides his service weapon....you know what I mean? I am very pleased with this dog trainer electronic dog whistle.

The product works well and is smaller than I thought, which makes it easier to store in a spare multi tool case on my belt. I'm a dog trainer, and this is very effective for changing bad behavior. The reason for the 4 star review is the description says it comes with a garbage bag holder for cleaning up after the pup. That wasn't in my package anywhere. I have a few of them, but in my line of work, having an extra handy is a plus.

I’m very very happy with this product. I pressed the little paw button when checking it out not knowing it was fully charged and my dog stopped what he was doing and came right to my side. This is exactly what I want him to do. So then when he went outside to bark at the air or leaf or whatever, I pressed the paw button briefly and he hightailed it in so fast I was shocked! I gave him a treat both times so he knows that it is training and not a punishment. I let him smell it and look at it so he knows what it is, if I pick it up, he immediately stops what he’s doing. So I don’t pick it up unless I’m using it, which has only been two times. It does not bother my cats at all which is great! I definitely recommend this to anyone who has a barker and won’t stop for anything or anyone. My dog is afraid of fireworks so I’m sure this has something to do with his low tolerance for the sound it makes. After his treat and good boy talk, he was back to himself and hasn’t barked at all outside since that one time. And he is a TOTAL BARKER! A golden retriever that won’t quit! But cute as heck! Great value for the price, quality and is easy to set up to charge. Highly highly recommend.

I honestly don't know if it works or not. My dog reacts to it but it doesn't bother him one bit. He only reacts to the buzzing it seems like. I've also tried it on another dog and he did react but it did not quiet her down. She barked every time I pushed it! Overall, I'm not really sure if it works or if the sound is so minimal it barely has any effect. I will keep using it to see but so far, it sucks.

Omg!! The endless barking has ceased!! I litteraly just hit the button...like a millisecond!!! They stop the barking instantly!!!I charged it when I got it and it's still good....but I've only used it a few times. (Like a week) Now I just tell them no or I show them the device!!!We by no means want to cause our pets pain or scare them. Trust me they are spoiled rotten! The barking alllll the time tho! Ugh I had to get something. I'm so glad I got this.I'm doggy sitting my older granddog right now. She has some hearing loss. It doesn't seem to affect her ??? Maybe she can't hear the high pitch anymore. Just an fyi if you have an old dog.

I Have a large German Sheperd. He barks a lot, I thought this would help. He just looks at me and continue barking.
