A great collection.
I got this primarily because it was cheap, but it turned out to be an above average collection. The angst wasn't as bad as in some periods of the comic, and it had several very memorable stories. Overall, I'm very glad I got this.

Entertaining and worthwhile collection
Much of Spider-Man's appeal has always lain in the ongoing struggles of his alter ego Peter Parker. For Petey, making a living and maintaining relationships has always been as hard, if not harder, than overcoming powerful super-villains. This collection brings together a dozen stories from the early 1980s when Peter Parker was working as a Grad Student at Empire State University. This enables writer Roger Stern to flesh things out with a cast of supporting characters who provide humour and romance. The action is provided by face-offs with classic Spidey villains The Vulture and Mysterio. Added to the mix are Stern's own creations most notably the femme fatale Belladonna. As an added bonus there is a crossover mini-series with The White Tiger.Overall this volume makes for an entertaining and worthwhile read.
