I was dubious about buying this due to a few negative reviews. However, my fears have proved baseless as it worked immediately after inserting batteries. (Not supplied) No retuning of the Humax box needed, and all recordings still intact. The buttons are in different places on the remote compared to the original one. I did struggle to find my “recordings” as there isn’t a designated button (unlike the original remote control) but the “Y” button brings up the menu, and “recordings” are on the list. Simple once you know how!I knew my original remote control was slow, often failed to function properly, sticking buttons etc but this replacement works like a dream. And with change from under a tenner, it’s a bargain too.

Only basic functions worked.

This seems nice and sturdy in the hand, All the functions worked immediately without having to pair the remote with the Humax box. Yes, the buttons are in different places, but you soon get used to that. It's just great to have a remote that actually works now when you press the buttons! Great value for money too.

Does all that is required, connected to free view straight away.

What I don't like is that after three months ,several functions on the remote are no longer working . The power control , the volume control and the main blue button in the middle are not operating . I have changed the batteries but that did not improve the situation . Preferably I would like a replacement. Thankyou Avril ward

Using to control a Humax FVP 4000-T with a Samsung TV and it works OK. The instructions are not totally intuitive, but I followed them and the remote worked without a problem - the first Samsung code on the list was the correct one for my TV, which simplified things. I'm not sure how robust the control will be over time, it is definitely not as sturdy as the original Humax controller, but having purchased it at a 'flash sale' price, I feel it represents very good value for money.

I purchased this to replace the remote which came with my humax you view a few years ago. It was becoming erratic and pretty unresponsive to commands.I've been using this one for 5 weeks now - and this is pretty useless too!! Buttons getting stuck, commands ignored etc etc.. I would say - don't waste your money.

Nach nicht mal 1 Jahr funktioniert die Fernbedienung nicht mehrGARANTIE ???????
