Threads weren't the same but I just took the new beds out and put them in the old housing.

As my review title states, our experience with these Joepoe mineral sticks is on par with the Nature 2 brand ones we’ve been using for years. I drop them down into the hallow middle center of the filter cartridge, same as the Nature 2. Everything fits fine. One stick treats our 480ish gallon hot tub for almost 2 months. The main difference is that I get THREE of these sticks for the price I was paying for one of the Nature 2. Joepoe for the win! We’ll be ordering more of these for sure.

Worked perfectly to just drop into the hot tub. All chemical levels are exactly where they should be!

Easy to use and economical; however - how do I know if it "really" works?! I use this in combination with an "enhanced spa shock" (which I use at least once per week). Not sure how I know if this really works, since I do not use it alone. I know that if I am bit negligent in using the powdered shock, my pool water gets slightly smelly. So I would not use this product as a stand-alone hot-tub water treatment. I used to use name brand mineral sticks (like spa frog, etc.) but they became so expensive I decided to try these.
