A beautiful book that includes 6 songs in Chinese with English translation. Three of these songs seem to be Chinese lullabies along with Old MacDonald, Jingle Bells, and Baby Shark.This book will grow with a child from infant through kindergarten. For example, Baby Shark has an underwater scene with fish, turtles, starfish, shells, and Sharks. A young child will learn colors, animals, and counting the different sea creatures. Each song has similar artwork that engages a young child.As the child grows, he can learn how to read the English version or the Chinese version. The Chinese includes both pinyin and traditional characters. Reading Chinese is reinforced by listening to the fun songs and beautiful lullabies. The songs are easy to follow along with by listening to the music and reading the pinyin pronunciation. It's a great way to start learning a new language and a different culture.

This book is a gem! I had not thought that putting songs in an audio board book can make learning Chinese so fun and effective. I keep one copy in the car so that kids can sing along on their way to school or back home; after they are familiar with a song, I have them read the Chinese lyrics marked with Pinyin as well as the English translation - this way they can read, listen, and sing along without screen time. Then at home, we have another copy that they can learn to write the Chinese characters. The book contains several Chinese popular songs that I used to sing when I was young, and now my kids and I can sing together, creating a special bonding experience. It touches my heart to share a piece of my childhood with them when we are singing together - the book helps to bridge the language gap and generation gap! I really love the book and gifted it to a few friends who want their kids to learn Chinese.

Bought this as my grandson LOVES the Bao Bao Learns series books (I purchased all 3 Bao Bao which I HIGHLY SUGGEST) as I thought this book would be comparable. Sadly, the music was scratchy & unclear. The illustrations were ok, but I really didn't like the Chinese characters on the page. My 1 year old cannot read ANY language yet, and for me, it was just too busy on the page, detracting from the English words I would try to read while singing. If you are a native speaker, you would most likely not need the characters anyway. I returned the book. Hope this helps you.

Everyone in my family absolutely loves this book. I get to sing along in Chinese with my baby every morning and sometimes again in the afternoon because he reaches for it . He loves turning the pages and pushing the buttons to hear the songs himself. Even my 7 years old loves it since she can learn to sing in Chinese, which is so COOL! As well as learn Chinese Pinyin and characters. The sound is clear and loud. The book is of outstanding quality as well as the pages and pictures. It’s everyone’s favorite now.

Our family loves this book! We were excited for our kids to learn songs in Chinese. It’s fun that they can sing the same songs in two languages! The musical quality is fantastic & the illustrations are beautiful. The kids love to dance to the music. Highly recommend!

There are so many things to love about this book! My little one loves dancing and singing to the songs and my older one loves following along with the Mandarin characters. The illustrations are vibrant and delightful. We love the touch-to-play pages. Great unique gift, fun for all!

My 1 year old baby likes all the songs of this book. But I think the quality of the books still have room to improve. Durability of these kinds of books are essential for kids at this stage. Hope there will be more children's music books contain Chinese songs in the future.

As a dink couple, we have no toys for kids, but we have a lot of friends with their kids come and play, so we decided to get something unique, we searched and found this sing along book in Chinese as well, the kids love it. A big group of them sit together and sing in both Chinese and English!A great way for kids to pick up a language!
