Q: Are these bags clear or an opaque color? The pics provided show they are clear but the reviews that include pictures show they are opaque, not clear

They are like a pearl white, not clear. I bought many of them, thinking it would be OK. Now, a year later, someone is helping me and they have had to open every bag to know what is inside, what color, what pattern, everything. I'm going to order clear ones in a few minutes...and make sure they are crystal clear!

I don't remember my Perber Garment Bags smelling of Cedar . It's been awhile since I received them and thought the Cedar disks were separately wrapped. The cedar disks themselves smell will eventually fade. Maybe you could put the garment bags outside in the sun. Throw the disks away. I myself like the smell of Cedar and was disappointed that the disks cedar smell faded

Q: Is the cedar ring will be better off inside the bags ?

Keeping inside bag is absolutely your choice. Smell of cedar rings repels bugs away, that's why it is advised to keep it outside. Also it may stain garment if gets in direct contact inside bag.
