Parrotlet Loves This But It Is Delicate
This is the third one of these I have purchased for my parrotlet. Once he figured out how to use it, he loved it (it took him a year though :o).The first one I ordered came broken at the arm. I got sent a new one and it lasted for about a year. I now have bought a third because that broke at the yellow arm also. It's a good enrichment toy, especially for smaller birds, but I suggest you DON'T pull the clear container off the yellow base, even though you can. The arms of the yellow base are just too fragile for you to do that too many times without it eventually snapping like it did on me. Instead, I take the entire toy and scoop seeds inside without detaching the two pieces. I'm hoping this will keep the toy together longer this time. Do not put anything goey or that will rot into the clear container because I don't see a way to clean it out well.If the toy is too easy for your bird, put some shredded paper in to make it a bit harder for the seeds to come out. (I buy shredded paper in different colors from Dollar Tree in the party section for $1) Be warned, I haven't tried to get it out yet but I think tweezers should do the trick.

Rats Love It
I bought this as a foraging toy for my rats and they love it. It wasn't hard for them to figure out, but now they love smacking it and making it spin around in order to get their treats out. It does seem a little fragile, but I've had it for a few months and it hasn't broken yet. I made a point to attach it to the cage in a lower traffic area so that it wouldn't get damaged in the course of everyday activity. They have to climb to reach it and always do whenever they smell their treats.

My parakeets love these foraging feeders
I have two parakeets and I use these for their seed mix that has treats in it, too. They love it. I bought one to try just to see if they'd use it and I had to buy another one, one for each bird. While there is a mirror behind the feeder container, it has not caused and breeding/nesting issues and obsessions for my birds that some mirrors can seem to cause. It is a bit on the fragile side, though, so you do need to be careful when removing the feeding 'teardrop' to clean as the pieces on the base that hold it could break.

Lovebird approved!
The media could not be loaded. Our lovebird "Mignonne" loveeees her new "treat" toy! Fast delivery, sturdy treat dispenser, at a great price. Only problem I could see someone having w this toy is that it's cumbersome to remove toy out of cage ea time you want to refill, due to size of hole where you fill treats. Almost impossible to refill otherwise. Prob solved I leave it on top of her cage on play station/or on table where she can enjoy treats as she wishes. I use a half tsp to fill it w mini pellets, I also add a few sunflower seeds :-) bc this toy is Mignonne's favorite treat dispenser, I have it 5 stars!!! Would purchase again.

Vending Machine for the Play Pen
I keep filling this toy with seeds and my 12 parakeets keep emptying it!I love it that it gives them something to do instead of sitting around bored all day. It is natural for parakeets to hunt for food all day. This is both working for their dinner and playing all day to them.

REAL GLASS
Ppl are worried about reflective surfaces when they get a bit because they think that the bird is going to have a problem seeing its own reflection. No no, no (I mean, maybe finches are canaries, but certainly not any of the birds in the parrot family) The HAZARD is not that your bird will become preoccupied with its reflection. That HAZARD is the reflective surface that they use and IF it’s a REAL GLASS ?! it’s typically cut with a sharp edge and then wedged into plastic so there’s probably microscopic pieces that can do real damage to your birds digestive system just as is, and should it be torn free from the toy? Omg 😳 😭 I found another toy that was very similar except it was for enrichment, not foraging. It was basically just a basketball on a chain and it had a reflective surface but it was NOT made out of glass and I was grateful I bought that I was really bummed. I didn’t have the ability to give her a foraging opportunity but oh well, you win some you listen definitely a LOSER!! Great concept great idea by the execution is one thing because again they used real glass!!! and as you may or may not know, hook beak birds will shred their toys (plastic or not) with their mouths and their beaks and so if your bird is able to get that plastic torn up and the glass free? It’s gonna have one hell of a problem with the mirror, the sharp edges all over the mirror… I’m taking time out of my night to send this review so that hopefully I can save anyone from losing their bird or having an emergency ‼️ catastrophe situation and having to go to the vet!!So unfortunate too because it’s such a great product when I looked at it before I returned it.It indeed tips down and did everything it was supposed to do it’s just why the F did they use real glass? Smdh 😞 super bummed about it. I wanted to keep it so bad …. I only use the other example because it’s made by the same company and if they can create that one why can’t they do the same with this?

Great fun
My bird loves to forage for her seeds she learned how to tip it in just a few hours. Tough plastic so will last.
