Got this as part of my sons gift for christmas and he loved it

Total deception! I haven't encountered this for a long time! The child cried, and I was upset because of the wasted money. Do not buy! There is nothing there except base cards!!!

23 rare (single star) cards.1 Foil V (presumably the "ultra rare", with a foil star). I thought something legendary/ultra rare might have more than one star, but IDK. Just a Magnezone, the kid already has several but a different version I guess at least.2 Reverse Foils (the color-type area of the card is foil, not the art).0 Full arts.1 of the Reverse foils had a Duplicate in the rest of the rare stack, identical version/color but non-foil.Came in a nice 60-70 card (unsleeved) "Lightning Card Collection Deck Box". That was cool, should be good for a lightning, the kid loved that.Mostly lightning rares, then psychic, then fire, then a mix. Several multicolored/gold/"dragon"(?) type cards in there too.5/5 from the kid. Accurate description I'd say. Amazing pulls? No. Usable for a kid just learning to deck build? Yeah!Price? 4/5There's a LGS (local game store) nearby that does a similar pack for a much better price (10 USD), but those have like ~3 V/star/max/blahblah ultra rares or something, but then like 8 commons so... It's just a different flavor, but for a lot less. So you get MUCH better value from the LGS flavor, but having experimented to try to get this kid more variety, whether from LGS or amazon, seems like more "variety" is better when starting out than "fewer better cards" b/c then you end up with all these broken evolution chains for "amazing" cards that you can't use. My opinion, but the kid seems just as excited as being able to play something decent as get something rarer that can't be used in a deck. Two different aspects of the hobby, guess the kid enjoys both!

Bought these for my grandson, he loved them. He received a couple very rare cards.

My son saved up his own money to buy this thinking he would get good cards. He was very disappointed when they arrived. There were only 2 cards he wanted to keep. Very misleading descriptions listed here!

Not bad compared to some of the other reviews I saw. Got a few duplicates but thankfully the rest were ok.
