Split unit 115-Volt 20 amp HAVAC AC/heater.
This was a fantastic buy $$$ cool’s are 500 sqf + room it turbo blow’s fantastic and it is super supper whisper quiet.the ECO mode all so a plus. And it heat the room without ease.!Wife and I have decided to buy one moor unit for the living room it has the feel of being in a #5 ***** Hilton Hotel. It was very EZ to install you need a special fitting for the AC Gauge vacuum pump, which you can also buy on Amazon very EZ to fallow institutions.i did this by my self one handed.i do recommend getting moor Insulation for copper lines and good Insulating tape.lines are all very long so plan out your spot not to have to much line Coiled up behind the outside, AC unit and a place for the condensation line to drain correctly.a good cord less drill to set concrete anchor’s I used RED HEAD’S bot at Home Depot and a Disconnect 30 amp fuse box for the outside connection and a double pole breaker at the panel. Our room had to designated plugs, so the install was very easy after switching out a breaker.it dose not use to hi of AMP’s depending on what you have for power I don’t see a problem putting a Disconnect box and piggybacking off a existing outlet with a GFI or fuse disconnect box to securely protect the AC from any power outages, power, spikes or drops. I did this out of just overly protecting it, I also drilled through the concrete and set a 6 foot ground copper rod grounded that as well to the disconnect box and the circuit. Our home does not come with a ground. It is ground through the conduit so adding that was just a precautionary, it ties into the neutral leg of the panel with some advice from All pro electric in Rancho Cucamonga CA. Master electrician.i give this project a1 out of 10 on a difficulty level of a two.! For do it Self Project .And give the Product a hard, five stars.! #5 ***** wife and I did consider putting in a replacement wall A/C witch cost moor money then then this split unit $400-$600 for the same or Slightly bigger BTU it all so takes way less time to heat and cool then a wall unit and No noise I can’t specify that enough whisper quiet.the the cost of the split unit with shipping charges was Equivalent to our or slightly less $$$ than a window/wall unit, AC and without the ugliness and bulkiness and The noise that a wall or window unit makes of a traditional wall unit.it all so uses less power than a traditional AC unit for a older home without central AC and heat.has a grate Updated Decor and Modernized the room. I can’t thank the company enough it is and dose what it Describes too a T.!!!.

very nice product
The media could not be loaded. Came with cosmetic damage to one unit, Not the manufacture's fault, that's on FedEx. After a modest refund I agreed to kept it if it worked, it did. I suggest you for-go the flared fittings if you can, they are famous for leaking, one of mine did. Since you can't buy R-410a from almost anyone, you'll be paying some "AC contractor" to fix and recharge the system. I did use the Teflon sealer on the other fittings, and they worked. Just had trouble with one fitting. If you have some DIY skills, you can buy a swedgeing tool to open one copper line then slide the other line into the swedged one, and solder with silver solder just as the AC contractor would, and then charge you, around $480, @ $80/ pound for the freon, R-410a and labor.Overall, I'm very happy with these 2 units. We went with the 18,000 BTU size just to make sure we would never have an issue keeping the house cold in the middle of summer in central Florida. We cool 1,400 square feet. I don't know the exact dollar amount for each month, to cool, but we have been very happy so-far. And the heat pump mode, heats the home very well also, we just don't need it that often because the home is very well insulated with closed cell spray foam. We run them on whisper mode all of the time (very low speed, and very quiet). If they last several years, they will be a great investment, if not, I think they will be a simple changeout. I tell people all the time, if there forced air system goes bad, consider installing these instead. I saved at least $6000 dollar's +, with these in our new home. I highly recommend this Rovsun Mini Splits.

Okay for DIY, works well, looks good, lots of functions
I bought this because it was one of the best prices for the size BTUs that I needed for my new home office. It was also critical that it be a unit that runs on 115 volts and 20 amps because my panel does not have a lot of room and I only have 100 amp service. I ran a dedicated 20 amp run to the panel using 12/2 wire and installed a disconnect at the outside unit. You will need to vacuum the lines, so if you can't or don't want to do that, get a professional to install. Now the office stays nice and cold during the day (06/27/2024) with my desktop and monitors trying to warm things up. It is actually too cold, but that is a nice problem to have.
