Sticking to Success: Grounding the Gravity-Defying Gadgets
My Android tablet was always on the verge of disaster, perched on a mounted tablet stand attached to my armchair table. The slightest movement or bump would send it hurtling towards the unforgiving bamboo table or carpeted floor below. I tried various materials like Velcro and textured rubber stripping to stabilize it, but nothing seemed to work, not even applied force. I was ready to give up on the idea of a tablet mounted to my recliner's mounted table. When I came across SlipToGrip Mats, my skepticism quickly turned to relief as they solved my tablet-toppling problem. The price point of these mats is fair, and I'm grateful that the manufacturer offers multiple mats in a pack on Amazon. SlipToGrip Mats have become a versatile addition to my toolkit, as they can be easily cut and attached to the back of various objects for increased adhesion. They even provide anti-vibration resistance and work well as spacers. I've recently used them on a security camera that needed to sit on a cabinet corner to get a full room view, and they held it firmly in place and allowed it to sit on an even surface. The same security camera can rotate 355 degrees horizontally and 110 degrees vertically without issue while staying in place. However, no product is perfect. These mats tend to lose effectiveness after enough time when exposed to whatever is floating around in the air (dust, dander, hair, skin flakes, etc.), rendering them practically useless. While they do prevent my tablet and devices from falling most of the time, occasionally they still take a tumble when the sticky pad is compromised. Replacing the material periodically is a small price to pay for the protection they provide. I do monitor their adhesion to the devices I use them on from time to time, and they consistently perform well. The tablet, in particular, gets used pretty frequently (almost every day), so it is unreasonable to think that the SlipToGrip pads wouldn't eventually run into issues.I have also encountered scenarios where the gel material that these pads are made out of can absorb the finish off surfaces over long periods of time. When I removed pads like this before, I had to scrub and sand the wood surface to eliminate the sticky residue left. I also noticed the finish of the wood was completely gone and discolored. Cleaning the gel surface with glass/electronics cleaner seems to work well for maintenance, as I'm sure using water does as well. I usually just end up replacing the mats when they start to become less effective or dirty enough.Despite these minor drawbacks, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product or continue to buy them in the future. They have proven to be an invaluable addition to my home, devices, and toolkits. Similar to duct tape in their usefulness and utility, I'm thrilled with the results I have encountered and have no desire to look for an alternative product. I highly recommend this product.

Fantastic deal, stick pad that works a charm!
Had it a couple of weeks or so now and it's great, definitely recommend it!Size of one pad is about that of a medium TomTom GPS for reference.I have one pad on the dash of my car which isn't a flat surface and my TomTom sits on it well, the suction cup base doesn't fully adhere, but it leans over and the edge of the GPS hits the pad as well and makes a rock solid hold. It really doesn't move at all or come off when driving, much better than using the beanbag holder base that I had been using. It does lose the stickiness after a couple of weeks of taking the GPS down and back on the thing on a daily basis. Washing in warm water and a bit of dish soap and letting it air dry really does bring it back to the original stickiness. Hasn't left any marks or residue on the dash of the car and it's been in the high 90's F.My wife uses the second one slapped on the passenger side dash and sticks on her printed knitting patterns when we went on a road trip and it held the pages perfectly. This arrived in a bubble wrap envelope and each pad was individually wrapped in a little bag, that had plastic sheets on both sides of the pad that you need to remove, though I suggest keeping them in the glove box if you want to move the pad about or what not. There was also a little printed instruction sheet with a thank you for the order which was nice.

Near perfect, for my purposes. Great adhesion with no mess.
These mats are nearly everything I'd hoped they'd be. The only minordrawback is the smallish size, though it's hard to complain considering youget two mats with slightly different designs, for such a great price.Using both in tandem should cover most situations, if need be. As youcan see in the pic, I've yet to use the one on the right. It's stillwithin the two protective plastic sheets they ship in. For comparison, thatphone has a 5.5 inch screen. They have just the right weight/heft tothem, and adhere very well to my dash. The adhesion on both sides works well, without leaving any sort of residue so far, anyway. I'vebeen testing them in the southeast U.S. summer heat, where the interiortemps in my car have gotten at least into the upper 120s (F). Notonly has the adhesion kept items from sliding, it also provides enoughso that things that might tip over on hard braking or acceleration, stayupright. Your results will definitely vary depending on the weight/dimensionof the object. To clarify, whenever my car is parked for any length of time, indirect sunlight, I put up a solar shield to protect the dashboard, as wellas keep the heat lower. Every time I peel something off the mat, or the mat off the dash, it has adhered so well, that my brain keeps expecting residueto be left on the dash, or items placed on the mat. So far, everything has been residue-free, but I suppose that could change in thelong run. If that does happen at some point, I'm guessing that, by thattime, I'll feel like I've definitely gotten my money's worth from themats. Nothing lasts forever, right??

Worked great for a few months
Worked perfectly for a few months, was sticky enough and easy to clean. Withstood daily use until the summer months came along and it literally melted -_- we live in San Diego and park our car in the driveway so it was basically in direct sunlight all day, which I'm sure contributed. It's cheap enough that we can easily buy replacements and it came with 2 to begin with, but I do wish they posted some type of warning about either direct sunlight or intense heat causing it to melt. It didn't make a mess and came off of the car easily, but I didn't realize the problem until I had stuck my $800 phone right on it! What a mess to clean up, but it did come off. I wouldn't buy again if it wasn't for the fact that none of the stands currently available fit both my phone and my husband's, so I'll have to deal with the sticky until something more adjustable is on the market.

Sticky and cushioned
I purchased this pack of sticky pads to keep my phone from bouncing and moving around in the tray of my treadmill. They are working perfectly so far. The phone sticks to them and doesn’t bounce and there is zero residue on the phone when I’m done. I have not tried washing them yet because they are still clean and sticky.

Great - all sorts of uses
This would normally be used in the car on the dash board to hold phones, coins, keys, etc. I used them for a different purpose. I bought a mini Hi-Fi system with two bookshelf speakers. I bought a pair of speaker stands which were slightly too big for the speakers. These work great at gripping the speakers to the stands as well as isolating some of the vibration. There is a noticeable improvement in the clarity from the speakers and I could not be more pleased with the resulting sound. Maybe a bit unusual for some but nevertheless effective. I would go as far as to say even if speakers on a bookshelf it would be worth a try. If you don't notice any improvement you will always have them for the car!

Good pads! Great price !
These pads are good value and certainly stick well to most vinyl dashboard surfaces.I would say that they do the job of holding phone in place (iPhone 6) at speed and on bumpy roads. It is however important where the pads are placed , it needs a flat vertical or horizontal surface as if the surface is curved the amount of contact with the phone is obviously less and more likely to move. So make sure your dashboard has a suitable area to stick to . All in all a bargain price.

Impressed so far
Works well, sticks to the dashboard well and keeps everything from my mobile to my work's vehicle pass, coins and everything i've tried so far from sliding uncontrollably around the dashboard, impressed so far on;y time will tell how long the stickiness lasts but i'm sure a quick wash of dirt will soon see it back to its original state.
