FORTNITE Official: The Chronicle (Annual 2023)

The Chronicle series in general is such a missed opportunity. The fortnite themes and lore is actually pretty compelling/interesting and In a game like fortnite that constantly changes and runs limited time events/storylines publishing a book memorializing the events that occurred throughout any given season that you could look back on would be priceless. Instead what you get here is 70 pages half of which is taken up by full page art and unrelated low effort activities, word searches, and scrambles etc. The book includes very little content related to the years seasons/storylines aside from listing a few skins and locations that were released without going into any detail about them. Puzzlingly the books includes just as many references to skins/locations outside of the 2023 year resulting in a product that is confusing and isn’t really for anyone except a child who is looking for an activity book which is odd seeing as its a hardcover release. If your interested in the history/lore of Fortnite's seasons/storylines your better of sticking to the fortnite wiki this aint it.

Easily the worst of the "Chronicle" series. Rather than actually chronicling any of the events that took place it's pretty much just filled with pictures and activities that are pretty unrelated to the time period of the game that this book is meant to cover.

Purchased for my Fortnite mad grandson (9). Has encouraged him to read as its broken into paragraphs of dialogue (he is Dyslexic). I would say for him it is moderate to advanced reading level. I have read some with him and its pretty good value. He loves it
