This thing can take a lot of heat. This is not the cheap plastic that melts the first time you leave it hanging over the edge of your pot. I bought this to replace another that I finally broke after more than a decade of use. I broke it when I was trying to pry dried bread dough that was stuck to a mixing bowl (I applied way too much force, so that was my fault). The point is, this is a utensil that you can use for a very long time. It's a better investment than those cheap crappy ones you can get at the dollar store. I liked it so much that I checked the brand and model (small text hidden on the back of the handle) and searched until I found it here on Amazon, and bought another one.If you have any kind of non-stick pans, you need this anyway. Metal scratches and this will not. This is the best egg turner ever. It is just the right size to free up the edges of your eggs or omelet (not too big, so you can reach in at awkward angles). And big enough to flip at least one whole fried egg (an omelet flip/fold does take some practice and skill with this).

The one I've had soooo long looks and feels exactly like this one I just don't know if it's the same company. However my husband and I have several different types of turners but we don't even bother using them. This style and material is just fantastic. Our original one has just now started getting small cracks on the edge so I frantically searched for one to replace it (it took me well over a year to find this!) How many of these did I purchase? 1red, 1 white and 1 yellow. Hopefully I'll never be without one. BUY IT! Great to flip eggs also.

Almost as good as the 30 plus year old one we had that broke. This one seems thinner and not as wide but, it still works pretty good

I love this line of products. They are very sturdy and easy to clean. I needed a spatula without a big curve in the handle and with no slots. So I opted for this one to go with the spoons that I love and I am not disappointed. It has already in 2 days become my favorite spatula. I may have to order some more colors.

I've had a set of the 11" and 12" utensils for over 15 years. Except for a few replacement pieces that met with untimely ends (human carelessness and a teething puppy), I've only bought additional pieces to expand my set.

I like how sturdy it is compared to some other less expensive ones that broke from excess force. Love the color. Had to get used to the angled edge, but really like that it’s thin and I use it a lot. If they made a wide straight edged one, I buy it, too.

I used 2 or 3 times and when I applied slight pressure to flatten a burger, it snapped in half.
