This product was bought as part of a modular city I’m assembling with my child. For the price one pays, you get a really detailed set, with internal battery operated lights. Lego purists beware - the build quality is good - but not great. If you have a small child, an adult might be needed to supervise everything ‘locks’ into place. The detailing is on par with Lego creator expert. The store has ‘book shelves’, pets, binoculars, flower pots, a table with a stray book and a coffee mug, i could go on. The battery operated lights are a nice touch. The instructions are not as easy to follow as in Lego - and a small child might need supervision - a child above 8 or 9 should be able to follow them easily. Hours of fun for children and adults that are looking to build city level mocks without blowing out their budgets. I have given it 4 stars on giftworthiness as the brand is relatively unknown and the recipient might feel it is not Lego. I will be a repeat buyer for personal consumption and eagerly anticipate new designs from them.

This is such a neat little set and a fun build! The little details are great! I live the lighting kit that comes with it. It is truly a great deal and a fun addition to my builds.I wouldn't recommend this for young children. Also, I personally thought that the little cat figures were really goofy looking and chose to not use them. Other than that, it's fantastic!!

Pet book store model: Do not waste your time buying this. Even though it is relatively cheap, especially compared to the name brand equivalent, it is of terrible design and construction. The layout is very weak, structurally it is very weak, there are no overlaps to solidify any walls or to make a strong base. As careful as I was, the build kept breaking and disassembling, and it was very frustrating. Do not buy this.

So i was trying to connect the 2 roof pieces together but the things that connect it keeps going up. It’s keeps doing that when I try to connect it. Also,I found a broken piece that I tried to connect. There’s a picture of it.

This is poorly designed. The pieces are cheap and bend. My son put this halfway together before it basically caved in on itself because the design is so horrible so it’s not stable. Super disappointed and frustrated. Do yourself a favor and stick to Lego brand.
