The foam comes uncompressed! It is decently dense and thick enough. My main reason to buy these.I'm very pleased with the diffuser panel and acoustic foam from Pro-coustix.I've been wanting to improve my room acoustics, but I never had a few hundred to invest in this and I didn't want the cheap stuff my friend went for. Luckily, there is now great quality for poor guys like me.The sound quality improved a lot and I didn't think it will make such a noticeable difference. The soundstage cleaned up immensely and the whole sound is so much clear. I can better follow the instruments in the songs and I can hear more and finer details than before. Since I have treated my room, I don't feel the need to grab my Headphones (Audeze EL-8 OB) for music. They are still better, but it's not a huge difference like before.I played with the foam placement in the room in different positions, but the most noticeable differences were the first reflections, big empty door and on the back wall.My next move will be to invest in some bass traps to tame the boominess (some mid-bass spikes).

Being a YouTube creator, I record my videos from a spare room and as with any video, audio is a massive factor, so I needed some form of sound proofing to improve audio quality. After much deliberation, I settled on these foam squares.As I needed them to be both aesthetically pleasing and functional, I was astonished at how well manufactured they are. Every single one is identical and so when arranging them together, they fit perfectly. In order to attach them to the wall, I first measured up and marked the wall, then applied some strong glue to the back of each square as they do not come with any form of adhesive tape or glue. Each square is very precisely cut and the edges are perfect.From a functional perspective, since using them, I have found that generally I have to apply less noise reduction during audio post production and an improvement to clarity. Whilst I'm not a professional audio engineer, I certainly found these beneficial to audio and let's be honest, they look pretty cool too!Overall, I love the way they look, the ease of application and ofcourse, the benefits to audio.

I was initially hesitant about acoustic tiles – would they be effective and would they look alright in my studio? I'm happy to report that these acoustic tiles exceeded expectations on both fronts!Let's start with the value. They were surprisingly affordable, and it took very few tiles to cover a decent amount of wall space in my studio. Installation was a breeze – they adhered easily and securely to the walls. Now, the most important part: the acoustics!These tiles have made a world of difference. The sound-deadening is superb. Any echo or background noise is significantly reduced, creating a much cleaner and more controlled acoustic environment. This has noticeably improved the sound quality of my voice recordings – a huge win!As a bonus, the tiles look professional on the walls. Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with these acoustic tiles. They're a cost-effective way to dramatically improve your studio's sound quality, and they even add a touch of visual appeal. Highly recommended!

Very, surprisingly effective. They dampen my drum kit very well

I don't have anything to compare these against but I'm very pleased with the end result. I bought these for a room my son uses for gaming and chatting to his friends (far more than I'd like so I probably shouldn't be encouraging him). Anyway, the room has bare walls (more or less) and very few soft furnishings so a very harsh reverberating sound. I bought these to reduce that and lend a softer acoustic to the room when he's chatting. Boxes are very well packed and inside the 24 tiles are comfortably packed inside (not squashed). I bought two boxes and the quality of all the tiles was spot on. Very easy to stick to the wall, and the good thing is they are genuinely a uniform size, so even covering a full wall there was no inconsistency in size to contend with. Sound dampening is excellent. There's a much softer sound in the room now with no 'echo' sound reverberating around. And my son loves the look of them - quite a dark grey with a nice subtle shimmer to them. Very pleased.

I purchased these back in 2019 and they were absolutely fantastic, uniformly cut and of high quality.Fast forward to today, I bought more to accommodate a larger recording space, and they are no longer cut well. The material seems to still be decent, although slightly different than the stuff I bought a few years ago. The problem is that now when I place the tiles together there are gaps due to the inconsistent shapes, which I never had an issue with before.Still decent, but I’m not entirely happy with the purchase.

Was searching for quite a while for some acoustic foam panels. Mainly for aesthetic purposes and to potentially help improve sound. Suffice to say both these boxes were ticked. I went for these panels as they don't come vacuum packed as with most others I had seen. you get a large (and light!) box with these uncompressed. The cutting on these were very good and mostly neat. A couple of rough edges, but nothing worth complaining about- you can just align the neater ones where you want.I fixed these using a dabble of "no more nails". I only needed a small dab in each corner and on the edges. Have stuck well and don't think they'll be falling off any time soon!I thought the colour would be darker (i.e. black), but these are more of a gun metal. Not a problem, they have grown on me and really do fit in well with my set-up. Would highly recommend. You get what you pay for- these panels are definitely worth it. 5/5
