I have a skin condition called keratosis pilaris where my skin is really bumpy and rough, covered in dark pimples (aka Chicken skin). Dark because I have brown skin but if you have white skin, it will be red. I've had this skin condition since I was 10/11 years old and now I’m 19. I have tried everything to get rid, from a young age. Been to plenty of skin doctors, in England and Sri-Lanka (parents country), tried so many creams, medicine, treatments, scrubs, everything. Nothing works, it just irritates my skin leaving it red and stinging like hell. Every now and then I google treatments and methods of getting rid of it. But I read online that my skin condition has no cure what so ever. But last month, saw an online forum about my skin condition dated back to a year or 2 about this product: AHAVA Liquid Dead Sea Salt. The lady on the forum who recommended this product said to not rinse the gel off after 2 minutes but to leave it on overnight and apply moisturiser in the morning. So once the product arrived I had a shower scrubbed by legs, thighs and arms with a pumice stone and applied the gel. Unlike most moisturisers, this gel didn’t dry out on my skin, I had to wait a good hour before the gooeyness went but that’s a good sign of a product I think. The next morning my skin felt much moisturised. I tried this for a week and my skin felt very smooth, I have was so happy and somewhat emotional because I have never skin results like this before. The pimples were there but I couldn’t feel them. That was good enough for me as a start. Then my friend said to invest in an epilator as they are better than waxing and shaving. The pain is worth it. So I bought one and carried on using the gel. And I am so over the moon, I cannot remember the last time had smooth skin, makes me very emotional. Even if I forget to apply it a night or two, the smooth feeling is still there and I am seeing patches of clear skin. This by far is the best product I have ever used and would recommend it to anyone.

I have very dry skin and last year I floated in the dead sea and experienced first hand the softness of the salt water. Now back in the UK I rub the liquid salt onto my skin and leave it on for 5-10 minutes before showering and then use Ahava body moisturiser. So,so much better than anything else on the market. Highly recommended. Product arrived promptly from supplier whom I will now use for further orders.

New packaging but the same product, and still good. I stick a bit in the bath and it helps with very sensitive skin. Pricey but worth it
