Naissance Geranium Rose Essential Oil (no. 116) 30ml - Pure, Natural, Steam Distilled, Cruelty Free, Vegan and Undiluted - Use in Aromatherapy & Diffusers

I purchased this to use as a tick repellant. I put a couple of drops into my dog's collar and on the bottom of my trousers prior to walking. We tend to walk in forests and also fields with long grass, so lots of ticks. It certainly seems to do the job - we have managed to avoid picking up any ticks when others (using different tick repellant methods) have not. Smells good too. Quite strong as it is an essential oil, therefore a little goes a long way. Would recommend.

I've purchased and have come across geranium essential oil, and this smells exactly like geranium.I especially wanted to buy rose geranium, as I love the smell it imparts in the creams I make.The reason I'm not returning it is because I've used it in my creams, and because geranium essential oil is great for the skin-so no reason to return something you can use.I only wish it could have had been rose geranium.

I am a longtime Naissance user so I'm disappointed in having to write this review...oil arrived with quite a bit of leakage which hasn't happened with any other oils I have purchased...the smell from the leakage was quite pleasant but for some reason when using it in my diffuser it has a really strong offputting smell, I didn't use many drops in the diffuser but ended up having to empty it & use a different scent altogether. I doubt I will use this oil in the future which is upsetting as I bought 30ml which now seems like such a waste. Any advice from other customers would be welcome...maybe it would smell better if made into soy wax candles?

This rose geranium oil smell wonderful.I've had proyduct from this company before and there quality has never let me down.I put it in my hand made soaps and non-alcohol perfume oils.I would never get rose geranium from any other company it really is amazing and very powerful in strength.

This is my first time using rose geranium, I've only used geranium before and my god this is beautiful. It's so potent and calming at the same time. It's really nice in the bath but it's beautiful in a burner in the bedroom. I was so chilled out laying in bed reading a book with this burning away.This seller is is my new fave aswel, their oils are not expensive as others but are just as good if not better than most brands.

Not sure this is a genuine essence. I normally put Geranium oil into the final rinse as I don't use fabric conditioner anymore. If I do that the clothes smell of the oils for days afterward. This oil loses its perfume most as soon as it is out of the bottle. Back to my usual I think.

Great oil and value, I add to almond oil (carrier oil) and spray on dogs legs harnesses to keep tics away, walked in Yorkshire and Scotland and not one tic on any of my four dogs, Google it for info.

I am very sad about this oil. I am making balms for the hands of NHS workers, and used this because I usually love the smell of rose geranium and thought perhaps it would smell better when less concentrated in the balm mix, and it still smells absolutely awful! sadly the balms are all wasted because of this.
