These work perfect as they keep your rulers in place as you cut. No sliding.

I use this product on all rulers and templates for cutting fabric that don't already come with a good no-slip backing. I like that with a little pressure I can rotate the ruler and the fabric will rotate right along with it when I'm rotary cutting around a shape. Some people complain about the roughness of the product - it is kind of like sandpaper - but I have never had any damage to fabric. That being said, I am exclusively using quilting cottons and similar fabrics, not silks or fabrics that might catch on it. I keep a supply on hand all the time and absolutely love this product.

These little gadgets are the greatest yet for using on the back of your rulers. What a difference they made when I used them on the back of my quilting rulers!! They truly grab the fabric, which, of course, lessens the chance of the ruler sliding! And they're basically clear so they do not hinder the view of the lines on the ruler.

This can be easily cut to size and are very grippy. Kinda like plastic sandpaper.

I have tried several products to help keep my rulers in place while doing ruler work on my domestic sewing machine. I find most help a little but not much. My rulers still tend to slide. However, these Handi Gadget strips work really well. They actually help me keep my rulers where they belong. Granted, they are rough enough to scratch other rulers or abrade fabric so you have to be very careful with them (hence only 4 stars), but I am so glad I found them for the rulers I have the most trouble with.

Love these for the back of all my quilting & sewing rulers. They can be cut to the size you need, lay flat against the fabric, and the hold is perfect to reduce slipping while cutting. These are a bit abrasive so I would not use them on loose woven fabrics (chiffon, lace, gauze)... but since those fabrics are not usually used during quilting- it works great for me.

You can reuse these over and over. They don't leave any residue on your machine. You can scoot them from 0" to 1/4" so easily. It's nice to be able to keep a straight seam by adding touch to what you see.

I’ve put these strips on my rulers and they work perfectly. I particularly like them on the rulers I use for ruler work FMQ. They help to grab the fabric, but don’t block your view. I appreciate the fact that once on, they are not sticky or fragile. I’ve reordered three times and I think I have everything covered.
