Excellent. These write really well on chalkboard, glass, stainless steel, laminated wood, and plastics. Erase quite easily with a damp cloth or paper towel, though need a bit of elbow grease (or a coarser paper towel) if the writing has been on for a number of days. They do take some agitation to get started for the first time. The trick is to give each one a good shake before tapping up and down on the nip (its sprung) to allow the liquid chalk to get wicked up. After that all they need is an occasional tap on the nib to keep running. As with most pens, they write best when held vertically so the liquid chalk can flow into the nib - however they can write when held horizontally (to write on a wall for example) for some time. The colours are really bold and vivid, and much much easier to read than chalk.

These are brilliant pens. Last a long time, super super easy to wash off the windows. A 6 year old also enjoyed using them on the mirrors to decorate for Christmas. I used them for a themed Christmas window, then just washed them off to do Valentines. Now it’s time to wash them off to do a Spring and Easter theme. They are really easy to use, don’t stain, come off easily and can be used my all ages (within reason!!).

Nice colours easy to use

I bought these for our magnetic black chalk boards in the kitchen. They all write and look great but some look better than others. Our bluez white and red come out nice and thick whereas the others a bit thinner. This might just be our bad use of them. But either way, these are much better than the IKEA ones that came with the board... Will buy again.

I’m have tried lots of chalk pens and these are my favourite. I am a teacher and mostly use them to write in black tuff trays to add interest to classroom provision. Need them to be easy to write with with great strong colour. Colour needs to be durable and these definitely are! Wash 🧽 off easily with a spray and a cloth. Recommend

Bought them to write on glass, some colours stick better than others, some just seem to pool the ink and aren’t very effective. Managed to just about get away with them but I personally wouldn’t purchase again
