Got as a practice kit for my group home kiddo he loves it

I just loved the packaging and the products. I have had fun trying it out to become a nail tech.

I received the kit, the light, the gel tubes, but no adapter for the light. I had to order a whole different light so I can do my nails.

the product doesn't cure all the way i've used similar products before was very unhappy !!

This gel kit is not for the faint of heart. It includes a nice UV lamp, a small easy to use nail drill, nail forms, a brush, slip solution and various gel nail builder in lots of colors. The instructions mention using a base and top coat as well as a dehydrator. The kit does not come with any of that, which makes it less than helpful. The gel is a nice consistency, but applying it is not easy. It takes a lot of practice. I'm sure with repeated use, you could get a nice looking nail.

I've only used polygel a couple of times but it's a pretty decent process... by decent I mean acrylic us easier for me lol. I love the color options! I don't necessarily like that the dehydrator/primer and base coat don't come with it but it's still not bad. I did the blue set on my mother-in-law and though it wasn't very time consuming, it was pretty messy (i used foil from the dollar tree). I used the break away mold tips as well as full well clear tips just to see if there would be a difference in the nail strength. So far, she says that the nails on both hands seem pretty durable. I'm sure that with more practice it'll be better and less of a "sticky" situation for me!

This is a great set for a great value. It's easy to use, and has a lot of product.

I am very pleased with the nail kit! They give so many different colors to use! The only reason i deducted a star is because they do not include some key items to do your nails. I just feel if they can make this wonderful kit be inclusive of everything you need to do your nails then I would have absolutely given 5 Stars for this review. You will need to purchase some kind of nail dehydrator, and a base coat, and topcoat. Other than that, they provide you with a very professional looking and working nail drill. I am very happy with that part. The UV light is also the same kind they use at the nail salons I have gone to, again very professional. I would absolutely recommend this nail kit anyone looking to save a couple of dollars getting their nails done every few weeks. You should definitely learn how to do your nails though before you go drilling on them. You can find videos on the internet that will help you out with that.
