Seems to work
Easy to use, good coverage so long as you follow instructions and shake well for a few minutes.I sprayed some repair panels couple of months ago to stop them flash rusting while I was working on other parts of the car and the primer still seems to be working - although it is best practice and ideal to top coat primed surfaces soon as you can as technically standard 1k primers can absorb moisture from the air.

I bought this item thinking it is etch primer as it is listed as etch primer and THIS IS NOT ETCH PRIMER. contacted upol website and this is high build primer.

This is my new go-to etch/base primer
PROS:Good adhesion.Excellent coverage.Nice, dark grey color.Very easy to overlap without streaks. No dripsCON:Mine was missing the nozzle, but it takes a standard nozzle. I used a red fan nozzle from one of their other products, and it worked great.

I would try the premium line.
Power Can is U-Pol's budget line. It sprays a high volume for a can. It's a much bigger can than most other spray cans.I kept getting droplets no matter what I did. I sprayed with el cheapo Rust-Oleum American Accents primer (not etch) and not a single droplet.Edit: It's my glove! I noticed index finger was wet and the spray fan was hitting it, causing the spitting. I looked at my work the next day and the primer got much darker, with rough texture ready for the base coat. I'm curious about their premium line now.
