It works
Gotta have one, may as well not have to spend a fortune just for someone to be careless with it and break it.

So much cheaper than a rolling machine.
If you want to do HVAC, you can buy the rolling machine that has the vacuum pump, recovery pump, recovery tank, manifold gauges, and scale all built into one unit, and that'll run you around $5,000. Or, you can buy all the components separately, and save about $4,000.This is a really nice recovery machine for the cost. As in, less than 1/10th the cost of a rolling machine. So all you need, is a vacuum pump, preferably one that will do vacuum stability testing (both of mine do), a set of manifold gauges (got that), a recovery tank scale (got that), a recovery tank, which I still need to pick up, and some Freon. But that it literally everything you need to do HVAC to just about any scale, from a window AC to an industrial unit, save for Freon and lube oil.It has a simple to use dial (which is just a valve) to control the rate of the purge. If you've ever done AC, you'll know this, but if you've never done it, when there is a lot of Freon in the system, you want to recover slowly as the pressure change will cause the temperature to drop and it could freeze up your connections. As the system clears, you open the valve for the recovery rate further, which once the pressure has fallen far enough, freezing won't be a problem any more. HVAC work is usually pretty simple (provided you aren't brazing lines) it just requires specialized tools, of which this is a good example. This is a fantastic addition to my garage workshop. It's built like a tank, and if you're getting started in doing your own HVAC, this is one of the key tools you're going to need. As someone who's done HVAC work in an actual shop environment, I'm quite happy with this, and it should get a lot of use.

Is it brushless motor?
I can't tell?? If it is truly usable on R-32 , it has to be using a brushless motor. Can't tell..

Instructions are for a different model
Packaging and chinglish instructions are universal between two models, so if you got 250 model, instructions are misleading, as there is no high/lo pressure warning lights and auto stop. It’s not very fast at evacuating, but works fine so far, tested it on a double HVAC systems. Also out of curiosity, checked that it pulls down to 2000 micron vacuum on the low side against atmosphere on the outlet. Not like it matters much as it’s not meant to be a vacuum pump, but is quite impressive it will pull that low and hold it well when selector is turned to the off position. I would not expect it to last in professional use, but for occasional AC educated DYI warrior helping friends like I am it works just fine. So if you are on the budget, this will get you going.

Works good
I needed to get a machine to handle the new style refrigerant and chose this. I've used it a few times now and it's worked great every time.

Worked for changing out the AC compressor in my vehicle.
I ordered this to change out the AC compressor in my vehicle. I gave this product four stars because the instructions were difficult to understand. The unit itself is great otherwise. It has a hard and thick plastic shell that is durable. The knobs and buttons are easy to adjust and they stay in their position without moving. The gauges all worked and based on my experience of using this twice the gauges are pretty accurate. I believed it had a battery to be charged but this unit needs to have access to an outlet in order to work. By using this product I saved over $500 by doing my AC repairs myself instead of going into a mechanics shop. Highly recommended.
