I finally retired my 20-year old Buxton leather wallet and decided to modernize with a metal wallet. After reading numerous Amazon reviews and watching many on YouTube, I ordered three different wallets and carried each for a week to decide which was best for me. The Ogon V2 Large won the contest.The other two options were the Ogon V2 Standard size and the Flipside 4. The Ogon V2 standard size has plenty of room for cards but not cash. Bills have to folded in thirds and there isn’t room for many. The Flipside 4 is a fun, practical wallet, made of hard plastic with room for cards and cash, but I prefer the all aluminum Ogon V2 Large with its stylish look and high quality manufacture.The Ogon V2 Large has five large pouches, each off which can easily hold three cards. Cash can be folded in half and placed in one or two pouches, but the best place for cash is in the hidden compartment. There is room for at least 12 bills and a card or two.Some have said that this wallet is hard to open. It’s actually quite easy to open once you learn the secret. Don’t place your thumb across the latch. It has to be completely depressed for it to work. Instead, place your thumb along the length of the mechanism (see photo). Press in and gently pull with your other thumb. It opens quite easily and avoids bruised thumbs if you do it that way every time.Once the wallet is open, it’s easy to grab your card from the pouch and return it once your card has been swiped. The cards are loose in the pouch and won’t be damaged by rubbing against a leather wallet or by being tightly stacked with other cards.I can easily carry the Ogon V2 Large wallet in either my front or back pocket. It’s not overly heavy and if I sit on it, my cards aren’t going to be damaged. Also, it’s water resistant and the contents will remain dry if it is dropped in the toilet or a puddle. And since it’s all aluminum, including the latch, your cards can’t be skimmed while the wallet is closed.The Ogon V2 Large wallet has all the features I was looking for. It’s a high quality wallet that should last many years. It’s made in France, and the French did a real good job with this product. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a high quality aluminum wallet.

For a couple if years, I used a similar type if wallet i bought at Office Max. But earlier this year I dropped it and it broke in two making it useless. My wife looked around and found this wallet. It is very sturdy and made in France. It hold my cards and whatnot and stops me from carrying too much. I would keep adding to my traditional wallets until they were huge. This wallet only has room for my essentials (and maybe a couple of other things). I have dropped it a couple of times and it has weathered those like a champ. I really like the very sturdy metal shell, the nice bright yellow color (there were so many nice colors to choose from), and the "secret" compartment.

I was thinking I could put more cards in one slot but it holds only 1 card per slot. I like that it has sort of a hidden compartment on one side that I can hide my cash in. Overall, it’s a good wallet. Worth the money.

My husband really likes this wallet. It's bigger around than just a credit card, so he can place folded bills in too, which is something we've struggled with with other wallets. There's a quasi-secret panel and my husband really likes being able to put his primary cards and his cash in that part. Overall he is very pleased with it.

Very difficult to open. Release button very difficult to operate. The card holders are flimsy and I envision contents from falling out while trying to open case. I threw it in the my metal recycling bin.

Love the design and sleekness however 8 months after getting it the joint started to crack under pressure. Now 9 months In barely is holding together. Better for minimalist individuals

The media could not be loaded. I bought this a few weeks ago because I needed a new aluminum wallet. My last wallet had a plastic latch that eventually failed when it was dropped. All of my cards and money would fly out of the wallet :-/The V2 has a metal latch and is advertised to be more resistant to dropping. It gives RFID protection for my cards and driver’s license.The 5 pockets are spacious. The hidden compartment is great for extra cash and cards I don’t use as often.I got the Big size because it allows me to carry banknotes 💵 folded in half (the smaller size required banknotes to be folded into thirds). It still fits easily into my pockets.I got the bold squiggly design so I can find it in my purse.It is rather pricey but it feels solid and substantial.

I bought this because I have one like it and I love it. I have used this style of wallet for many years and have replaced them for many years. I bought a used one like this from ebay last year and it's as good as it was when I bought it. Being a bit paranoid about being able to find something that will serve me as well again, I bought this one on sale and stored it away, just in case. Sorry, but, I'm like that. Thumbs up.

Over de kwaliteit alleen maar lof. Na enkele jaren de kleine variant te hebben gebruikt heb ik nu al geruime tijd deze grote xl portemonnee. Bonnetjes, papiergeld, verzendbewijzen etc: het past er allemaal veel makkelijker in. Het enige wat ik nog mis is een klein bevestigingsoogje voor een ketting/koord o.i.d. om de case aan een riemlus te bevestigen als extra zekerheid. De wallet heeft een zeer gladde aluminium behuizing waardoor deze makkelijk uit een broekzak kan 'glijden', afhankelijk van de zit/lig/hang positie en de diepte van de broekzak. Vooral bij stoffen pantalons kan dit redelijk snel gebeuren.

En la línea de calidad de Ögon, es muy cómodad, muy estilosa y muy resistente, diría que incluso más que los modelos previos.El compartimento lateral es magnífico para meter cosas muy personales que no quieres que queden expuestas cuando abres la cartera, como fotos de carnet, pequeñas y útiles como tiritas o apósitos, tickets o recibos, o incluso llaves sueltas o monedas.Aunque sea más grande que las pequeñas, no significa que sea menos resistente, sólo la tengo desde hace unas pocas semanas, y ya ha sufrido alguna caída sin problema.Después de haber tenido el modelo anterior en tamaño pequeño, y ahora éste que es más grande, me quedo con el grande, ya que por ejemplo al no tener que doblar los billetes 2 veces (y en consecuencia abultando más), caben con tan sólo doblarlos por la mitad, por lo que caben muchos más billetes.La única pega que podría tener, es que la pestaña del cierre es un tanto dura a la hora de abrirlo, pero eso facilita que si se te cae la cartera, haya menos posibilidades de que se abra y salga todo el contenido disparado como ya me pasó muchas veces con la versión anterior del modelo más pequeño.
