It works exactly as I expected and is reasonably priced. And having two USB ports is definitely a plus. Great product, definitely worth the money!

In UK for a while. Most all of our electronics and electrics except wife’s hair straightener are dual voltage. When using the (expensive) straightener through the converter it seemed to run hotter than usual and buzzed. Her device doesn’t appear to be damaged but it’s still concerning. The converter is compact, a little heavy, and robust with multiple compatibility, so it seems an ideal unit to travel with. This experience is a one off so perhaps unique to our device and not the converter. Planning to have it tested for output, perhaps the frequency 50Hz vs 60Hz causes some strange phenomena? Stay tuned.

I did send this company a message that the item does not work. I had to too long before the trip to get a refund. Sadly it met the garbage can. A waste of money

I rate this adapter as 3 stars because I like that the safety feature is built into the individual plugs instead of being a separate switch (that you have to make sure is correctly lined up in order to gain access). All I had to do was press down on the appropriate button and then slide it down to get access to the plug. The safety mechanics prevent another plug from being accessed when one is already out. All plugs locked into place except the "USA/CHINA" one which kept popping back into the adapter at the slightest resistance. The box had a lot of odd smudges on it, so I wonder if this was a returned product. Overall, the design is cute and I like that it's smaller/compact yet still has all the functions of my other adapter plus new capabilities with the USB charging ports, so I'm looking forward to using it on my next international trip.

since retiring and traveling, having a power adapter becomes an essential item to have with me. but there are instances when i need to use 110v appliance in a 220v country! this power adapter provides a step down capability in order to do just that. be aware though when using as an adapter, this unit will NOT convert voltage and when using as a converter, the adapter function does not work. so in essence, it is one or the other; not both. small enough to throw in my luggage and i’m ready for the next trip!

This should have worked in Thailand but it just blinked weakly and did not charge my iPhone.

I needed a 240V to 110 V converter to send to elderly relative in Europe; the unit I sent her 3 yrs ago has failed (different brand); searched Amazon and this was the best I found at a decent price; being 240 V I wasnt able to test it first but she has received it and siad it's working (hope it lasts longer than previous unit - doesnt get a lot of use); ony time will tell.
