High quality, ridiculous comfort, and GORGEOUS
My first pair of Taos and I am in love!I got heckin foot pain (splay feet, touch of neuropathy) and these days I'm only willing to wear comfortable shoes, so I decided to give these a shot after reading about this brand. All I can say is WOW. They fit like a dream on my wide-ish flat feet, true to size (6.5) and superbly comfy all day right out of the box. High quality construction too, I can tell these will last a long time with just a lil TLC. And while aesthetics have taken a back seat to comfort for me these days, I am absolutely in love with the distressed look, the unusual soles/heel stack design, and the "smoke" color (it is a perfect grey-brown neutral that complements so many clothing colors). Buy these if you're on the fence, they are 1000% worth the price for their comfort, beauty, and quality.

Style and Comfort
To say this was a good buy is an understatement. These boots are soooo comfortable, flexible, and stylish. They go with everything ad look fantastic. You could walk several miles and not feel uncomfortable walking in these. The soles are soft and flexible. I will be buying other boots from Tao.

Nice boots but no real arch support
I loved the look of these boots but need arch support which they do not provide. Returned

Comfort. Stylish.
This is my second pair. I work on my feet for hours at a time. The leather is soft, the padding is very, supportive & comfortable. For me the size was true. I ordered a 38. Normally, wear a 7.5 or 8. I loved the color, very versatile. Looked great w/jeans, khakis, olive green. They are my go to boots. I originally bought them at a boutique store for way more $ than I was able buy them on Amazon. A bit spendy but worth the comfort.

Great brand.
So glad that I came across this brand of shoes. I really like the way they fit and the quality of construction. If you need a boot or shoe that has good arch support this is the brand to buy. I like the lace and zipper option. It makes getting them on and off so much easier. Tie the boot how you like it and then just use the zipper. Not sure I would recommend these if you have a wide foot though. These are comfortable to wear all day long. These are my second pair of boots and four pair total that I have purchased in the last 6 months.

Usually wear 38 in Taos, got these in 39.
I wear a 38 in the Taos Crave. I accidentally ordered 39 in the Boot Camp....and I’m so glad I did. Had them on comfortably for hours before I looked at the info on the box and surprise! They do not feel a size larger, they feel just right! I love them. I got the navy and it is dark, might be mistaken for black even, but I like the color; I think the color is going to age beautifully as they wear in. For reference I’m always a 37 in Dansko, 7 in Doc Martins. Taos boots are made in Portugal and are really well made. They feel already broken in. I find them worth the extra $$.

super comfortable, but had to size up
Lovely color- I'd been on the hunt for a pair of comfortable grey boots for several months. Wanted something that could get dressed up with a skirt or dress, but casual enough to wear with jeans. These boots are perfect. And no lacing requires with the side zipper- get the adjustments done once, not every day. I've practically lived in these boots for the last several weeks.
