Makes nice crimps
Seems to make a solid crimp for loudspeaker and other small electrical crimps. Also purchased the different jaw size. Useful for lots of small electrical and audio projects.

great for jst ph2.0
much better that the hozan 707 for smaller connectors like jst ph2.0, the hozan was very problematic for those. This one is perfect.

Genuinely the best crimper available in the UK for molex pins
Genuinely the best crimper available in the UK for molex pins, excluding the genuine molex crimper as it costs £400. while you may need to crimp twice compared to other crimpers on the market, it doesn't actually take much longer, and its the perfect crimp every time. If you make custom wiring for PC, I would definitely recommend this tool, it may take a while to get used to, but the quality is much better. The cutter is also very handy, and works well as a stripper too.

It IS a precision crimper
Does the job, pricisely. Comfortable and easy to work with, easy apply the right amount of force on the crimpI used two little neodymium magnets to hold the allen key (for the interchangeable heads) to the crimper,Fiddle with it for 15 seconds to get used to it.

I bought a chinese pair for £8 and it was very precise and better quality and it did a very good job crimping ...
Do not be fulled by the fact they are japan made. Cheap plastic safety release pin is not somthing you would put in a pretending to be a 'precission' quality tool. I bought a chinese pair for £8 and it was very precise and better quality and it did a very good job crimping 1 mm wiring.

Best tool for crimping the smallest of contacts.
These precision machined and well polished dies have sensible spread between sizes so you can always get a good crimp on any terminal within range of this tool. The smallest size is distal to the fulcrum so you can really feel how much pressure you are exerting. I do have a couple of similar but cheaper tools from IWISS and but the smaller terminals are so tiny that it can be difficult to align them into the tool while crimping and the PAD-11 is so well machined that the whole process just becomes easier. This is the one I should have bought in the first place for my 2 step crimping tasks. I also purchased the bigger PAD-13 so that I can also do the bigger contacts found in appliances and so on. Having both is much better than swapping dies all the time.

Japanese quality, what would you expect?
A tiny bit expensive, but very high quality tool. It can crimp small things like the JST SH 1.0 easily. Just be sure that you follow the instructions attached to the tool and that you use the proper wire with the correct diameter. The handle has a very firm grip and the tool itself is lightweight so it is easy to work with it. The jaws are replaceable and the manufacturer actually has different jaws for different crimp sizes.
