If you are confused about grammar, this is a good book
I see why this is a classic. Simple rules that will make your writing better. I wish I had know about the book, and read it (it's not long) thirty years ago. The book is advertised as USA rules, but they are very applicable to UK English writing too.

A useful reminder of how to avoid writing sloppily
A deceptively simple guide to the art of creative writing. In its own way as indispensable as a dictionary.

Great for reference đź“–
Clear and concise, this is a valuable resource for all who are studying grammar or want to improve their written English. 'Strunk and White', as it's known in the trade, is one of the classic reference books for editors, proofreaders and typesetters. It's great to find it on kindle, meaning that you can take it with you to refer to at any time, wherever you are.

A great tool for writers
When I was at school I had one bad English teacher who left me with some gaps in my knowledge. As a consequence I am always slightly nervous about my writing. This provides some great rules (with examples) and advice for more easily understood writing. It hasn't fixed me completely, but that's because I don't always remember and follow the advice.

Askew formatting
Askew formatting: In places, the transition to kindle has not worked well. Mainly in those sections that have (I assume) right and left hand column presentation. The text that was once in two columns are now entwined and confusing. This did happen frequently towards the end of the book to the point of frustration.

A worthy read for anyone seeking to become a worthy read
This feels like necessary reading for anyone seeking either a deeper insight to the minefield of writing or to become a demolition expert themselves, able to set a course through and become better at the craft without blowing up their adverbs.

Good reference to written English
A very useful guide which can be used as a reference. The book is in three parts. 1 a guide. 2 a list of examples. The 3. A discussion of style. Lots to learn, even if you think you have mastered the written word.

Gold for non natives
This is by far the shortest and the the best book on improving the English writing style. The rules are very clear with examples. Definitely worth buying specially if you are from non English speaking country.

Wish I had known of this as a student!
Homeschool parent here. Two high school kids, two younger kids. All will be using this book! Why didn’t I have this when I was a student! Concise resource. Only issue is this edition could use better spacing or formatting. Some of the examples bleed together when they would be more clearly stated on separate lines or with semicolons or the like between them.

Writer's Guide
An indispensable instruction manual for beginning writers. It seeks excellence in language, guiding the user in the elaboration of qualitative text. Written yesterday, but it seems like today.

Kindle version is of bad quality
I returned the Kindle version of this book as is badly formatted. The examples are supposed to be listed in columns with the wrong examples on the left and the correct ones on the right, but in this version they're listed underneath each other which makes it very hard to tell which is which. There are also multiple instances of sentences being cut off and breaks in weird places. You can get the original version of this book for free on Project Gutenberg, with correct formatting.

Stile e punteggiatura.
Un piccolo libro, semplice, essenziale e chiaro, per imparare a scrivere partendo dalle virgole. Fondamentale per non commettere errori banali. Consigliato.

E-Book Version Ruins Formatting
This book is a real gem for any beginning writer, the e-book version is deeply flawed, however, because it does not represent the tabular layout this book originally contained: bad example in the left column, good example in the right one. It also lumps in the start with the next paragraph with the end of the previous one. As a result, what in print is a very concise and well-structured guide becomes a muddled mess on your e-reader.
