I use it as a puppy monitor and it works great for that as purpose.What I like:- Setting up the camera and the app was easy and it was easy moving it from one location to another.- It establishes an encrypted channel every time you stream the video.- Audio can be turned on/off in one click.- Long press button to speak into the camera- SD card recording: can record continuously or events only- Playback option to review past events- Motion tracking works well- Can switch between HD and SD quality video- Color mode, Night mode, and Smart mode available. I use Night mode every night and it works well.Overall it is working very well as a puppy monitor for me and I would say it is a great value for money.

With its wide-angle lens, I can monitor most of the nursery from a single position, reducing the need for multiple cameras. The build quality of the camera feels sturdy and reliable, and its design is discreet, blending well with the nursery's decor.However, I have noticed a few areas for improvement. The app occasionally experiences connectivity issues, which can be frustrating. Additionally, while the camera itself performs well, I would appreciate more customization options for motion and sound detection alerts to better suit our specific needs.Overall, the R6 Hugolog Connect Indoor Camera has been a valuable addition to our baby’s nursery. I brought this Hugolog R6 camera to try to figure out which of our cats is having a good ‘ole time with some unauthorized peeing in our family room. I returned the first camera I purchased from another vendor on Amazon as I was simply not able to figure out how to install it.I was delighted to find that the Hugolog R6 was not only very easy and simple to install but their support team has been very responsive and supportive to the queries I’ve had. There are a lot of options within the features and settings to explore.The R6 has not only been helpful at providing some much needed detective work, but It’s also been a great help to be able to check in on the pets when away from home. The talk mode allows me to speak to them which is a nice feature. Two-way talking is also an option.If you don’t want to pay for iCloud storage, you should get a micro SD card which is what I did. It slides easily into the Hugolog R6 camera. The recordings/display are very sharp and clear for both day and night recordings. I’m a novice user and still learning but am delighted with our purchase.I highly recommend the Hugolog R6 Indoor Security Camera. Again, their customer support is very helpful which, as many of us know, can be hard to find these days.

I love this camera as a baby monitor. It has an amazing video quality and sound quality. It’s inexpensive and SUPER easy to set up, doesn’t lose connectivity around my 60acre ranch.Con’s are that it doesn’t tell you the temperature of the room, and it doesn’t let the sound play on the background on your phone. So if you have to use your phone, you can’t hear if your baby wakes up.However, between this ($60) and the $160 owlet we bought, I would choose this over again. The owlet is horrible to set up and loses connectivity all the time, customer service says it’s the type of wifi I have, but for $160 they should have been able to figure thatAnd change the cameras set up configuration like this company.Only loses one star because I would like to see the temp in the room, and when I need to use my phone I have to shut off the entire app, vs still being able to use the sound in the background

Set up was easy on my mesh wifi, no issues at all and has not lost its connection. Easy to connect with the app for a live view, or to review past videos. 128Gb card will hold weeks of data when in motion detection mode. Local storage only so far, but I'm switching to the cloud soon. Picture quality is outstanding.

I received the two cameras. I plugged them in and followed instructions to sign them into WiFi. I installed the app on the iPhone and things worked right away. The setup is easy to follow. Very intuitive. Both cameras work perfectly. It’s been two weeks plugged in nonstop. When motion is detected, notifications come through the phone with the video feed. The camera follows and tracks the object of interest. The two-way communication between the phone and the camera also works well. The picture quality of the day and night vision is superb. I’ve purchased the 128Gb micro SD, installed and set the camera to record only when needed instead of 24/7. The durability is good and I think I’ve got great value for the money. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a reliable camera with tracking, recording, and large storage.
