Nice little camera

Works ok as films at 4K 60fps
After playing with this camera its not as good as it advertises there is no zoom, you cant flip the lens while recording from front to back. You also get the motor noise during recording when moving the power head. Feels a sturdy build and great as a second camera filming looking in on vlogging. I am undecided if i am keeping it.

Good little camera.
Took this on a tour of Japan. Took video of everything! Recommend buying spare cards if you are recording a lot. I also bought a telescopic handle and an external microphone for recording my commentary as I recorded. I have reviewed the images and they are pretty good, but my wife’s iPhone is better quality to be honest.

Great Quality VIdeo
This is a great quality camera, for all you budding influencers out there. It has different shooting modes including slow motion, timelapse & webcam and as it's relatively straightforward to set up it won't take you long to get started on your You Tube or Instagram career. The integral screen is clear and pretty good quality that allows you to review your efforts easily.A nice little added extra is the inclusion of an SD card in this package.I like the rotating camera, very sci fi!Fun and useful...and it fits in your pocket too!Sure, here are a few options for how you could change the sentence:Shorter and punchier:This camera vlogs flawlessly in 4K and 5K, with a pocket-sized design for ultimate portability. Timelapses, slow-mo, webcam mode, WDR, and more - it does it all! Loved it.More specific:This camera's stellar 4K and 5K performance make it a vlogger's dream. Its compact size and diverse shooting modes (timelapse, 8K slow-mo, webcam, continuous shooting, WDR, digital zoom) offer incredible flexibility. Plus, it fits right in your pocket for on-the-go content creation. Highly recommend!More formal:This camera boasts exceptional video quality in both 4K and 5K resolutions, making it ideal for vloggers. Its portability is unmatched due to its pocket-sized design. Additionally, it offers a multitude of shooting modes, including timelapse, 8K slow motion, webcam functionality, continuous shooting, WDR mode, and digital zoom. I found it to be an excellent choice for content creation.More focused on a specific feature:If you're looking for a camera that delivers stunning 4K and 5K vlog footage and fits seamlessly in your pocket, look no further! This camera also impressed me with its versatility, offering timelapse, 8K slow-mo, webcam mode, and more.

Not bad, not the worst
Not the best not the worst night vision is good which I wanted it for anyway, so but if I had more I would’ve bought a different one very difficult to understand the instructions because there’s none anyway that’s it

Looks Can Be VERY Deceiving – Avoid!
This M3 Vlogging camera certainly looks the part and the description for it contains all the right buzz words. And to be fair, straight out the box, the nice feeling case and robust feeling camera give a good initial impression. Unfortunately though, you soon find out that looks can be VERY deceiving.Firstly, and most obviously, the gimble looking head. This head gives the impression that like other similar looking cameras, the lens is mounted on a gimble which can rotate both vertically and horizontally, with many of those cameras having the ability to track their subject automatically as a result. Even one of the description photos states that it can rotate both horizontally and vertically. However this is not the case. It is not a gimble at all, but just a fixed mount. Whilst the camera can rotate vertically through 180°, it can not rotate horizontally. Which begs the question, why would they go to the time, trouble and extra expense to design the camera to make this camera look like it has a gimble? The answer becomes clearer looking at the included 64GB microSD card. It looks like a SanDisk Extreme card, with the same design, colours, logo, lettering and fonts used. However whilst it looks the part, on closer inspection, and comparing it to genuine SanDisk cards I own (as well as those on their website), the SD type stated on the card is incorrect and the underside of the card is not flat like a genuine SanDisk card should be, but instead has a raised microchip on it.What’s more, this is not even a 5K camera as claimed. In fact, the 5K footage is barely distinguishable from the 1080p footage it takes. You don’t have to take my word for it though. The 5K/30fps video setting on this camera uses a resolution of 5120x2880. Simple maths (5120 x 2880 divided by one million) tells you that this resolution requires a 14.75MP sensor, yet the sensor on this camera is only 8MP. Which means the 5K footage must be being upscaled from a lower resolution. The same is true when taking the alleged, higher resolution photos. The image quality produced by the camera is below average, with a lack of detail, a lot of noise, and other artefacts present. This quality only worsens the lower the light level gets. The lens used is a wide angle lens with fixed focus and fixed aperture. Whilst wide angle lenses on any camera will cause barrel distortion, the barrel distortion from this lens seems very extreme. There is an inbuilt digital correction, but using this severely crops the image and introduces a lot more artefacts and image degradation.Moving video is handled poorly with a lot of distortion, blurriness, judders and obvious rolling shutter distortion. There is digital image stabilisation, but it crops the image and does not do that great a job. Often it makes the footage even more juddery and distorted, with far more artefacts. At its worst it has this really bad 'jelly' effect throughout the image. It should also be noted also that that digital IS can only be used when shooting at 30fps, and can't be used when shooting vertically. The 10x Digital Zoom claim is a lie. I can not say exactly how far it zooms in, but compared to other cameras I own, it only zooms in about the equivalent of 3x to 4x. And as with any digital zoom, if you start with a poor quality image, a digital zoom only makes it worse, as is the case with this camera.Auto white balance is reasonable but not great, as is the auto exposure. There are other exposure and white balance settings you can chose, but pretty much all of them do not work well, and I would not recommend using them. The dynamic range on the camera is average at best. Whilst it is claimed the camera has an option for a wider dynamic range, this option only seemed to brighten the image, rather than extend the dynamic range itself. The exposure lock is handy and a nice feature to have on a vlogging camera, but with the not so great dynamic range, it is not nearly as useful as it could have been. The ability to shoot IR footage is also a handy one. However, the IR lamp is not that powerful, so this is only really suitable for shooting vlogging footage of you talking, rather than using it to film things further away. IR image quality is about what you would expect from a cheap IR security camera. The LCD Touchscreen is reasonable quality. Twisting it to automatically switch between shooting in portrait (vertical) or landscape (horizontal) is very convenient. However, shooting vertically simply crops the horizontal image, and as a result the resolution for that vertical footage is lower and the image quality suffers accordingly.Sound quality is also below average, sounding slightly muffled and 'far away'. What's worse is the built-in microphone picks up every creak and handling noise from your hand gripping the camera, making your audio annoying to listen to throughout. There is a 3.5mm jack to plug in an external microphone, but this did not seem to work on the unit I was sent, despite trying multiple different microphones in it.The ability to flip the lens through 180° is pretty pointless. When videoing, you can only rotate it through 90°, so in order to switch from videoing yourself to videoing away from you, you need to stop the video, flip the camera (which takes 2 seconds to do), then start a new video. It would be quicker and easier to simply manually flip the camera without using a motor, or better yet, to have a front and rear lens.Handling is also not that great with the camera feeling strangely unbalanced in the hand. With the exception of the rocker switch to rotate the lens, all the controls are the same size and shape, with no bumps or indents to distinguish them. As a result, you have no clue as to which button you are pressing through touch alone. And given that the power button is right next to the record button, this can be frustrating at times, especially when you switch the camera off instead of catching the shot you wanted. The touch screen user interface is basic, but acceptable. However, on multiple occasions I had the camera not respond, or worse still, lock up on me, when trying to select options. In conclusion, this camera is designed to look like, and advertised as it were, a far far better camera than it actually is. Even if it was advertised correctly, with accurate information about its actual specifications and capabilities, came with a genuine SanDisk SD Card, and was priced appropriately (sub £75), I would be hard pressed to give it 3 stars, given the shear number of issues it has. However, as it is being sold here, it gets a well deserved 1 star rating. Even a relatively cheap £100 phone these days would give you better image quality, better stabilization, better sound, a much larger screen, and a better all-round user experience.~ Ethics Statement: Amazon provided me with this product and asked that I give my honest and impartial opinion about it. That’s what I’ve set out to do in this review, so I hope you found it helpful. ~
