Excalibur Firebolt 20" Carbon/Illuminated Carbon Lightweight Crossbow Arrows for Use on EXO-Traditional Series Crossbows

I have shot the bolt previously recommended by Excalibur, the Gold Tip Laser 2's, for years and get have gotten 1" groups from the bench at 20 yards. I like the Lumenocks and have used them in the Gold Tips. I decided to upgrade to these new Firebolt bolts now recommended by Excalibur and to save myself the hassle of mounting the Lumenock's in them, I got the ready-made Firebolts from Lumenok through Amazon. (Don't know whether Excalibur has them made or Lumenok has them made.) Two of the bolts were decent, I got say 2" to 3" groups from the bench at 20 yards. The third bolt spun out at least 8" to 10"s each time. Unlike the Gold Tips that had an odd color fletching to allow for consist crossbow mounting, these new Firebolts have all the same color fletchings (and shorter, the Gold Tip has 4" fletchings, the Firebolt 3" fletchings). I tried mounting it on a different fletching each time. All that did was spin it out 8" or 10"s in a different direction each time. I switched out the broadheads just to be sure that could not be the problem (it wasn't). Somewhere in the manufacturing process, it went wrong. So I got two just okay arrows and one crappy one. I only get one shot at a deer, and I have to inherently trust in my bolts going where they are supposed to. NO TRUST HERE. I am going back to the Gold Tip Laser 2s, and I will put my own Lumenocks in (even if it is a pain). I did make one mistake. I didn't try the arrows for 6 weeks after I bought them, so no return to Amazon. No compliant on Amazon, they have a fair deal, that one is on me. Even if Excalibur (whose crossbow I love) or Lumenok offered to relace these new Bolts, the trust is gone, won't touch them again.

Bolts work great!! Just went to range to compare with my regular Firebolts, without lighted knocks. These shoot true and the same. no adjustments to sights needed. Also, lighted knocks are amazing. normally when I target practice, I am unable to see the bolt flight. With these bolts, I am able to track the flight as it leaves crossbow all the way to target. This was during the middle of a sunny day. Will surely make a difference while hunting.

Very displeased with Excalibur's customer service on replacement of a defective Illuminated Firebolt they sent me. This was 3 bolts package in a plastic pack that had crimped the plastic fletching of one bolt. Contacted Excalibur and they suggested I "steam" the affected fletching, which did get rid of most of the crimp but not all. After several steamings, one of the fletching was still crimped a little bit. The other 2 bolts shoot center bullseye but this one consistantly shoot 5" to right of bullseye.Excalibur requires I send the bolt back for replacement but after packing and postage I would be spending almost the cost of a single bolt to return their defective product. All I need is the bolt with no nock, which I could buy for around $10.It is now approximately 2 hours after this initial review and I'm upgrading Excalibur Customer service to 5 star. I was contacted by CS and we've agreed upon a compromise on the replacement Bolt.

Work well with my crossbow and are a bit heavier than my aluminium bolts, but are also more consistent regarding accuracy.

Got these today an shot them to make sure the scope was still on. All is good out to 40 yds. these arrows shot dead on and the lumenok is the way to go if you want to have a chance to recover arrows. Just hope the deer will cooperate.

Arrows are good but the shipping caused the arrows to be pulled down into the hard plastic which put creases in the fletchings. Otherwise the arrows are good products. I checked the balance with my Excalibur Boltcutter broadheads and all three arrows had a good F.O.C.

Been using these for years for my Excalibur crossbow and performance is flawless. With the lighted nock I can see my shot placement and locate a complete pass thru or missed shot with ease... Will keep buying these as long as I hunt.
